It is a celebration of the arts at Murwillumbah East. All students will have a part in the show. Please order your seats at our front office to avoid missing out. Ticket price is $1.00 to reserve your special seat for the show. Little Swimmers This week is the last week for intensive swimming. Well done to the students who are commencing, developing and extending their swimming ability. Our students are making huge gains in this essential life skill. NAPLAN NAPLAN results for years 3 and 5 will be sent out with our newsletter. Take some time to read through the results in the different areas. An achievement scale will show your child’s achievement, our school average and a national average. NAPLAN results should always be interpreted with care. The information contained in the report should be considered together with school-based assessments and reports. Your child’s teacher will have the best insight into your child’s educational progress. North Coast Athletics

Well done to all our athletes who participated in the

North Coast Championships in Lismore on Friday.

From all reports, it was a very successful day with

many of our students performing personal best

times and distances. A big congratulations goes to

4 of our senior athletes who were successful in

progressing to the State Championships to be held

in Sydney next term.

This Friday 6T will be hosting our whole school

assembly. Our assembly takes place in our school

hall starting at 12 noon. Everyone welcome to

invited to attend a production of an original play for

young people written by Wollumbin High School

students of Stage 5 Drama and Music. Please return

permission notes to our office, there is no cost for

Thank you to all the students who have enjoyed our

canteen re-opening.
