Garden Winners!
Congratulations to all our volunteers in the garden
and all our students who also lend a hand to make
our school playground such a lovely place to be.
A special thank you also goes to Basil, Maz and
Sue our SAS staff and Deb Sorrenson who also
helped bring it all together on the day of judging.
Canteen Closed - Friday
Our canteen will be closed on Friday, the last day
of term.

Boys Relay Team - Off to Sydney
We finally have a result - our boys relay team has
qualified to compete at the State Championships
to be held at Sydney Olympic Park Athletics

Good Luck Xane, Dempsey, Toby and Randeep!
Great 5 Sports Day
On Wednesday a few weeks ago Brady and
Imogen got selected to represent our school in the
one and only Great 5 program held at Banora
Point High School.
In the morning everyone met in the hall at
Banora Point high school, and we were split into 2
groups. We got introduced to a year 11 student
who has been to 4 world titles in synchronised
swimming. She may also be going to the
Commonwealth Games at the Gold Coast in 2018.
We went outside with about 30 other students from
our district and played 2 games, tags and capture
the flag. It was then break and we had 25 minutes
to eat and play, it was then time to go to the
kitchen and put aprons on and start to make
things. First we made bliss balls and then we made
a fruit salad using banana, watermelon, kiwi fruit
and strawberries.

North Coast Golf
My name is Nicholas Sneesby and I will be
representing the North Coast in the sport of golf at
Blackheath in the Blue Mountains. I am hoping to
win or at least get in the top 8. If I do get in to the
top 8 I will go to Adelaide for the Australian School
Championships. I will also be going to the Jenolan
Caves for sight-seeing as part of my trip to the
tournament. We presently have 4 people in the
team.
I am very proud to be representing my school and
the North Coast Region and it is my ambition to be
a professional golfer one day.
