raditional WorshipTAdvent comes rom the Latin word adventus, meaning arrival orcoming, as in the advent o royalty, or the coming o a new era. Adventis thereore a season o anticipation, not only or the birth o Jesus, but or His return at the end o time. Te color o Advent is purple ora deep blue and is a sign o repentance or the worshiper and also areminder o the kingly royalty o Jesus Christ. You see, there are reallythree advents or the believer; Jesus coming at His nativity, His coming
into the hearts o those who put their trust in Him, and His final comingwhen He comes to judge the world and restore His whole created order.
