STUDY QUESTIONS & NOTES1. Like the nobles of Tekoa, what is it that can keep mefrom fully committing to Gods work at times?

    2. Baruch is described as zealous. What is it that makesme more passive in my faith at times? What is it that makespeople zealous for Christ?

Have you ever noticed the sounds we make as acongregation when we have gathered to worshiptogether? This morning, as you are singing, notice thegrand sound we make in putting our voices together.Surely, if we were to record each one of us singing

individually, we would never guess how wonderful thesound is when we are all together! That is the joy of asinging community! When we respond to the chargeat the baptism, or the Glory Be to the Father, or thethanks be to God at the reading of Scripture, or whenwe pray the Lords Prayer together, were involved incorporate worship, that is, worship side by side. Goddesigned Christians to be in a community. We are bothindividual worshipers and corporate worshipers at thesame time. Both are essential. Corporate worship is notan optional weekend activity. Like the message today,we live our faith with brothers and sisters of like mindand as one, we offer all we are to our great Lord and

Savior. It is the one activity we do both on earth and inheaven. This morning is a rehearsal for the glory that is tocome! - Dr. Dan Sharp

*Passing of the Peace St. Paul always greeted with the words, The peace of God bewith you. This is an appropriate way to greet fellow brothersand sisters in Christ, and so we say, The peace of the Lord bewith you and respond, And also with you. We then pass thisgreeting of peace to one another. At the passing of the peace

we should earnestly desire Gods peace upon each person wegreet.
