She is the radiant Jeanni Mulder from Nico Malan High School who bowled the judges over with her stunning dress and overall look for her matric dance at Mentorskraal in Jef- freys Bay. Her dance was held on July 25. Jeanni’s dress was made by Antwané (Antoinette Saayman) from Jeffreys Bay. “I looked for a lot of exam- ples on Instagram and Goo- gle – and this specific dress just caught my eye,” Jeanni replied on where the inspi- ration for her dress came from. Her hair was done by Poppie from Beautique Sa- lon and Githe Meret-Muir did her make-up. Beautique Photography (Fanie Laub- scher) did her photoshoot. According to Jeanni, her mother planned her matric dance as early as February. “I didn’t have to worry about anything. I just had to show up. #ThanksMom,” she said. She was accompanied to her dance by her boyfriend, Christiaan Oliphant. Asked if she would change anything about her special evening she said: “I wouldn’t change a thing . . . well maybe just one – while we were dancing, I fell. That is something I would want to change, but everything else was just perfect. The food was amazing and I took a lot of sweets home!” After hearing about the Miss Matric Dance competition from her grandmother, Jeanni decided to enter the competition. “I was very excited and felt blessed, because the other girls were so beautiful and also de- served to win,” she described the moment she found out she won the competition. In her free time she loves watching series and movies, she loves to gym, go biking, jog- ging, ice skating, spending time with her friends and dogs and loves music, photography and cooking. She will be moving to Cape Town in January to continue her modelling work for Boss Models. Her advice for next year’s matriculants at- tending a matric dance? “The only ad- vice I can give them is to just be your- self, be thankful for this opportu- nity your pa- rents gave you, be with the people you enjoy spending time with, take lots of photos to capture this magical mo- ment and enjoy it re- sponsibly!” MISS MATRIC DANCE 2015: And the winner is . . .

Dit volg net meer as ’n week nadat ’n voorgestelde plan

vir dié hersonering aangekondig is.“Die gebiede is slegs as ’n toetsfase oopgestel,” sêNandi

“En natuurlik my Bybel.

Ryalene vertel sy wil eers soveel as moontlik ervaringopdoen voor sy gaan studeer.

MONIQUE BASSON

KINDERLOOS, geskei, kanker, depressie,alleen in ’n onbekende dorp . . .

“Skryf is my terapie. Dit maak my heel,”sê Nel.

Jykan kies of dit jou gaan beïnvloed of nie.

As tienermeisie, natuurlik vurigehygromans.

Hoekom hulledit doen, is onverklaarbaar,” sê Botes.
