Leader: The Lord is Risen! People: He is Risen indeed! Leader: Christ is risen from the death and lives among us,

bringing hope and joy to all who believe in him. People: We rejoice because we have been raised to new life! Leader: Death cannot conquer the power of life in Jesus Christ. People: In him is life, in him is love. All: Thanks be to God who gives us the victory, through

Accept our prayers and praise, that, even as we celebrate this day of resurrection, we may be transformed by the power of your Spirit, to be delivered from the dominion of sin and evil, and lifted into newness of life.

Through him who lived, died and lives again with you, O God, ever one God, world without end. Amen.

Leader: Let the house of Aaron say, “His steadfast love endures

forever.”

People: Let those who fear the Lord say, “His steadfast love

endures forever.”

Leader: Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord

on those who hate me.

People: The Lord is my strength and my might; he has become

my salvation.

Leader: There are glad songs of victory in the tents of the

How Can I Make A Difference?

Here are some mission opportunities that you to help with!

The Interfaith Hospitality Outreach Council has served homeless

men for over 20 years. The need is enormous for housing, job

counseling and support for homeless men to get back on their

feet

We will host homeless guests in our church April 19-May 4,

2014. We have helped the Baptist church in the past with their

hosting weeks. We will be supported by other congregations in

Collingswood but will need your help for overnight hosts at the

church and dinner preparation. Contact Martha Jane to sign up

at [email protected] or 856-858-6419.

For our Collingswood Food Pantry: The greatest

need at this time is for breakfast cereal, but we are

also collecting canned tuna or meat and jelly. Any

items you care to donate are greatly appreciated. In

these difficult economic times, there is a large number of clients.

Donations can be put on the table in the back of the sanctuary.

Kitchen items are needed for 2 of the IHOC men who are moving

into their own apartments! Please bring donations of utensils,

dishes, and pots & pans to the church on April 27 and May 4.
