    T R A D I T I O N A L W O R S H I P

In spite of the way it might look and sound on the surface, prayer to God is a dialogue. The book of Psalms, which isactually broken into ve books, (1-41, 42-72, 73-89, 90-106,107-150), is a songbook of prayers. As we read the psalms ofKing David, many of which were his prayers in written form,we nd prayers of joy, of confession, of lament, of anger,of confusion, and of trust. He prayed for wisdom. Davidprayed about every aspect of his life, but also that he mightknow of the life God had in store for him. In the psalm weread this morning, Davids prayer is one of needing Godsrefreshing strength and perspective in the midst of difficulttimes. In light of our world situation, his words become ourwords as we enter into a time of intercession before God.As we pray this morning, add your own concerns. Listenfor Gods still, small voice giving clarity and direction as Heguides our path. - Dr. Dan Sharp

    Pastoral Report

*Passing of the PeaceSt. Paul always greeted with the words, The peace of God bewith you. This is an appropriate way to greet fellow brothersand sisters in Christ, and so we say, The peace of the Lord bewith you and respond, And also with you. We then pass thisgreeting of peace to one another. At the passing of the peacewe should earnestly desire Gods peace upon each person wegreet.
