We frequently hear the words entering into worshipwhen speaking of a worship service. Some of us arehere today out of disciplined spiritual and godly habit. Some have come to worship to draw closer to God. We

have entered worship. But what does that phrase mean?To enter worship means that you and I have come to ameeting. We will engage in the meeting as a participant. We are not simply sitting at a table listening and watchingothers interact in the meeting. We are mentally andspiritually connected to the dialogue. We are listeningas God speaks (via prayer, song text, Scripture, sermon, response, music). We expect to hear the Holy Spirit atsome point in the hour. Jesus is interceding on our behalf. He is fully engaged as the channel of our worship. As weenter into the worship via the power of the Holy Spiritthrough Jesus, transformation and retuning of heartshappens. Let us all enter into worship this day in eager

    anticipation. - Dr. Dan Sharp
