If you are one of the families that have been randomly selected to complete this survey, we thank you in advance for your valuable time to complete the survey and for your considered feedback. 2018 PREP ENROLMENTS – FINAL CALL We are now in the midst of planning our Prep Transition program and liaising with Kindergartens and Early Childhood Centres, as further planning unfolds for our 2018 prep cohort. At this stage we have approximately 18 students enrolled, which will definitely see at least one prep class for next year. If you know of any families in our zone who are yet to enrol their eligible prep child for 2018, could you please let them know that this needs to be done as soon as possible. Children need to be enrolled by the end of this term to be included in the “Leap Into Learning” program which begins in Term Four. Students enjoying the experience at Mt Buller

Student of the Week Students will be presented with certificates at next Thursday afternoon’s assembly.

Prep P – Mrs Perkin – Bailey Newman – For applying past knowledge to new mathematical situations. You used doubling and counting on to solve the number of days in three weeks. What a Mathematician!

Prep S – Mrs Read - Sam Skoblar - I am so impressed by the way you have been striving for accuracy Sam! You are checking your work before you finish and trying your hardest to improve. Well done!

1A – Miss Arnold – Sophie Leahy- for persisting through learning tasks during maths lessons when learning about time. Keep up the great work Sophie! 1P – Miss Perkins – Kai Stubbings – for his enthusiastic and confident reading during his reading activities.

2B /2MB– Miss Boyd –Sienna Kelly- Arena – For thinking and communicating with clarity and precesion! Well done Sienna, you are really coming out of your shell.

3H – Mrs Houston –Willis Golding - For managing his impulsivity and striving to work on his persistence when working on a task. It’s great to see you trying to remain focused and not giving up Willis. Well done! 3WB – Ms Walton & Mrs Bos – Maverick Boardman – For trying to become a more active listener.

4H - Ms Hone – Lil Watson - For questioning and posing problems - your questions during our talk about the Active Minds program this week demonstrated fantastic active listening. You also find humour and share it with your teacher and friends. Keep smiling Lil and keep up the good work! 4P – Miss Pittard – Maddsion Little – For your excellent start at Tootgarook Primary School! You have taken responsibility for your learning and settled into our classroom well. It is wonderful to see you forming new friendships. Congratulations Maddsion!

5/6H – Miss Munn– Chloe Pearce – For constantly going out of your way to help others. We enjoy having your smiley face in our class.

5/6 K – Ms Gibson / Mr Kitchin - Travis Southon–Travis had a productive and enthusiastic start to Term 3. In

the classroom, Travis used his time effectively and completed all of his tasks. He should also be congratulated for making sensible and thoughtful choices in daily learning situation. Keep at it Travis and well done!

5/6M – Miss McGhee – Summer Dixon – For being such a great help and producing some fantastic work! Well done!!

Art / Craft – Miss Davey – Hani Mears & Charli Vis– 4H – for working collaboratively and helping others with their puppet making projects.

Music - Mrs Young – Kaiden Carver – 5/6K – For thinking and communicating with clarity and prcesion. You got your Music Project handed in well before it was due! When it was time for your verbal presentation, weks had gone by but you still made a clear presentation. Well done Kaiden! P.E. – Mr Kitchin - Sonny Feron- 2B – For displaying a positive attitude when working on your jumping skills, well done!

Lunch For Everyone on Wednesday 2nd August will be Chicken Parma Rolls – order forms were sent home today and need to be

returned with $2 by 9.00am Monday 31st July.

SCHOOL SELF-EVALUATION REPORT We are in the early stages our School Review process. The first step in this process will be the development of our school’s Self-Evaluation Report.
