FOUNDATION ENROLMENTS FOR 2020 TOOTGAROOK PRIMARY SCHOOL We are a small and friendly school focused on achievement within our RICH (RESPECT INTEGRITY CELEBRATION HONESTY) School Values. We have Running Club and Breakfast Club each Tuesday and Thursday morning before school. Each Wednesday a dedicated group of parents prepare Lunch For Everyone with different meals on the menu each week. We have Specialist Programs of Music, PE, Art and our new Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) centre will be opened in Term 2. You’re invited to see for yourself the programs in action by booking a tour of the school at one of the following times. School Tours will be conducted on: Thursday 2 nd May – 2.30pm Tuesday 7 th May – 10.00am Thursday 16 th May – 2.30pm Tuesday 21 st May – 10.00am Thursday 30 th May – 2.30pm Parents who attend the 2.30pm tour are then invited to attend Assembly which commences each Thursday at 3.00pm where the band perform and children receive special awards. Provisional enrolments for 2020 Foundation students will commence in Term 2. The “Enrolment Form” will be available from the School Office at this time. If you have any questions, or concerns regarding enrolments, please contact the school on 5985 2864. CONFIRMATION OF ENROLMENT WILL BE MADE IN WRITING BY THE END OF TERM 3, 2019 Our ‘Kinder to School’ Transition Program “Leaping Into Learning” for our 2020 enrolled Foundation students will commence on Thursday 10 th October at 9.15am – 10.45am for 6 weeks. The Parent Information Morning for parents of our 2020 Foundation Students will be on Thursday 14 th November after students have been signed in at “Leaping Into Learning”. Morning tea will be served in the kitchen following the meeting. Please provide the following information when lodging your enrolment 1. Enrolment Form 2. Proof of Age – (Child’s Birth Certificate) 3. Certificate of Immunization (School Entry Form) 4. Any other documents relevant to your child.

End of Term Arrangements It’s hard to believe that Term 1 is drawing to a close! It’s certainly been a very busy and productive term, with many activities taking place culminating with the 5/6 Urban Camp next week. The final Assembly for the term will be held on Friday 5th April at 2pm, where the term Personal Excellence Awards and Easter raffle will conclude the term.
Term two will resume on Tuesday 23rd April, due to Easter Monday being scheduled on Monday 22nd April. This will be a short week as ANZAC Day Public Holiday is on Thursday 25th April.
Easter Raffle tickets need to be returned by Thursday 4th April
with winners being announced at our last Assembly.

LUNCH ORDER MENU There will be a new updated School Lunch Order Menu
from Term 2 onwards –suppliers have put their prices up a few times in the last year due to
drought & floods therefore the shop also needs to raise prices. Items have been highlighted
in yellow that have had price increases - a copy is included in this newsletter or call at the
school office for an updated copy.
