Prayer for the Protection of Storms
God our Father, creator of the Universe and Lord over all creation, we humbly stand before you as your children in thanksgiving for your loving care and protection. We ask
that you keep us safe from all hurricanes which may threaten us in the coming seasons.
Protect us from all fear and anxiety of storms and give us an ardent trust and hope in Your love and mercy. You
alone have the power to command the sea, the wind and the rain. You alone bring peace, calm, and safety.
Father, we thank you in advance, for you are our only Refuge. We ask this through Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever
and ever. Amen. Mary, Queen of the Apostles, and Patroness of our Diocese, Pray for us.
Please Pray for the recently deceased members of our Parish
and their grieving families.

We Choose to Follow Jesus
Word Find Answers:
Jesus died for our sins.
www.thekidsbulletin.com
In today’s Gospel reading, Jesus tells us that the people who are really great are those who serve. Here are some really great people:
Mary, the Mother of Jesus: God asked her to be the mother of His Son. Our Lady spent her whole life caring for Jesus, and now she watches
over us and helps us. She is the greatest saint of all.
The pope has a very big job: looking after the whole Church. Did you know that the pope is called “The servant of the
servants of God”? He is great because he is using his life to take care of God’s people.
But who do you think is the best example of all? Jesus! He helped people all His life, and then
He died so that everyone would have the chance to go to Heaven.
