 November is a special month dedicated by the church to pray for our beloved departed. In all of our masses for the en re month  of  November,  we  will  have  a  special  prayer  and  blessing  for  them  a er  the  concluding  prayer.  Envelopes to write their names and to give your dona on are available at the back of the church. Please return them through the collec on baskets or through the office before next month.  Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon them. Amen. Noviembre es un mes especial dedicado por la iglesia para orar por nuestros amados difuntos. En todas nuestras misas durante todo el mes de noviembre, tendremos una oración especial y una bendición para ellos después de la última bendición. 10-17-2021 Bulletin Message Nuestro más sincero agradecimiento al Obispo Alberto Rojas por habernos visitado en nuestra parroquia en medio de su apretada agenda. Como siempre, la visita del Obispo fue un momento de gracia para la parroquia al bendecir solemnemente nuestro Santuario de Fátima e instaló formalmente al P. Resti como nuestro pastor. También, muchas gracias a todos los que hicieron posible, con sus amables esfuerzos para asegurar el éxito de su visita. Un agradecimiento especial al Comité Preparatorio por su generosidad en su tiempo, tesoro y talento. De hecho, ¡la parroquia ha sido bendecida con feligreses maravillosos como usted! Que el Señor, que ve todo lo bueno que hacemos por el bien de la parroquia, recompense a todos mil veces las gracias que más necesitamos de Él. Incluimos en nuestra oración el éxito del Sínodo de los Obispos que fue inaugurado solemnemente en una Mi-sa presidida por el Papa Francisco en Roma el pasado 10 de Octubre. El tema del Sínodo es “Por una Iglesia Si-nodal: Comunión, Participación y Misión”. A continuación se muestra un extracto sobre el Sínodo que se tomó de su documento preparatorio: Con esta convocatoria, el Papa Francisco invita a toda la Iglesia a reflexionar sobre un tema decisivo para su vida y misión: “Es precisamente este camino sinodal el que Dios espera de la Iglesia del tercer milenio”. Este camino, que sigue a la estela de la “renovación” de la Iglesia propuesta por el Concilio Vaticano II, es a la vez en don y una tarea al caminar juntos y reflexio-nar juntos, siguiendo el camino que se ha realizado, la Iglesia podrá aprender a través de Su experiencia, qué procesos pueden ayudarla a vivir en comunión, a lograr la participación, a abrirse a la misión. Nuestro “caminar juntos” es, de hecho, lo que representa y manifiesta con mayor eficacia la naturaleza de la Iglesia como Pueblo de Dios peregrino y misionero. Oramos para que este Sínodo sea un momento de abundantes bendiciones para todos al responder al llamado de ser una Iglesia de comunión, participación y misión.

Healing a er Loss, a grief work-shop

 “We Honor the Dead by Helping the Living”.  A 5‐week program will be given to help those people who have lost someone to death.  We will help you work through the grieving process on five Wednesday eve‐nings beginning October 20th and con nuing through November 17th, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Riverside from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. OR 6:00 

p.m. to 8:00 p.m..  Also, if you are interested in a day  me session please call and let us know of your interest. If you are interested in mee ng with 

this group, contact Valerie Doran at St. Thomas Church at 951‐689‐1131.  A one‐ me $35.00 dona on is requested to cover the cost of handout materials.

A new season of youth ministry began.  Here is a list of all the fun events the youth ministry 

will be hos ng:    

Oct 17th Life Night. We will be discussing life’s purpose and

how we can turn to God for help.

Oct 24th Pumpkin Carving. Come and pray with us, then help

us carve some pumpkins.

When does the youth ministry meet? The youth ministry meets every Sunday  for  the 5pm evening Mass.  We celebrate  the Mass as a  community of  believers.  We know how important it is to feel supported, so the teens have a sec on (choir lo ) where they can celebrate Mass together.  A er the 5pm evening Mass, teens will travel to the Sacred Heart Center for an opportunity for our young people to grow in friendship and faith.  Ac vi es will end around 8:00pm.
