I studied the culture and language while building relationships among the people. After finishing my first year at Southeastern Bible College in 2013, a friend and I moved back into the area and created a ministry called Every Tribe. We taught ESL, tutoring, and held neighborhood events. Once I returned to school in the fall, I knew my heart was still with the Mixtecan people. The Lord used Ephesians 4:1-6 to bring me back to work among the Mixtecs in Montgomery. “As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” May 2014, I returned to live and work among the Mixtecs. I am adapting to their culture and learning to speak and translate in Mixteco. I share the gospel of Christ by living every day life with these people. To God be the glory! Hallay Solomon currently lives and works among the Mixtec population in Montgomery, AL.

Shining a light in

the darkness...

I accepted Christ at the age of five and by age eleven knew I was called to missions. In 2010, through a CEF five-day club, I met the Mixtecan community in Hopper Gardens.

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”

May 2014, I returned to live and work among the Mixtecs. I am adapting to their culture and learning to speak and translate in Mixteco. I share the gospel of Christ by living every day life with these people. To God be the glory!
