5.3 üArTrNG PARAMETERS rN "TNSTALLil ST BMENU

All the paraneters contained in the install sub-nenu (tube heating,AEC caLibration) cart be written without requiring any adjustnent.

This possibi l i ty is very interesting in some cases¡ €.g. for CPUboard 4OO-plfe replacement following a board nalfunction.

5.3.L THEoRY 0F oPERATT0N (RECAP)

See Fig. t .23 .

5.3.2 TUBE CURRENT ADJUSTMENT

The values read under DATA in the INSTAL HEATADJ submenu aredeternined by the operation described in Section 5.4 .4.

5.3.3 AEC CALTBRATToN

The value of PM HV (C* HT-PM ) a¡rd the value of PM gain(C* GAIN.PM) in the INSTAL AEC ADJ. DATA submenu, are deterrninedby the operation described in Para 5 .7 .2.

The value read under AL-K7 (C* AL-K7) is determined by theoperat ion descr ibed in 1.4.8. 1 . b .

The value read under ALF (C* ALF) is deternined by the operationdescr ibed in Para 1 .4 .8 . 1 . c .

The values read under ALA (C* ALA), AL-NRA (C* AL-NRA) andAL-NRB (C" AL-NRB) are given in the table, Para 1.4.8.

These parameters are interlinked to deternine the density, and somust be copied in full. Be sure to update the records of thesepara^meters.

After copying these paraneters, the operating test must beper formed in l -po int node (see Para 1.4.10) .

You can also use the KEITHLEY kVp divider and the "Linear Manno Pack"(ref. 3735LC) to check kV values in the 22 thru 40 kV range.
