    What is note velocity? Well, in simple terms, velocity is a measure of the speed with which akey on your keyboard is pressed. It can be used to adjust volume levels of a note or group ofnotes.

    To adjust note velocity inGarageband, you simply follow thesame process for

    . When you click on thenote, the Velocity slider on the left willbecome active. Simply click on it anddrag it to the right for a highervelocity (louder), or left for a lowervelocity (quieter).
