Today's technological advances in England have left their mark on the international market to technological and scientific level, and that their progress would enhance the global economy are of great support for people in various aspects of everyday life.

Some of the most renowned and most demanded progress in society have been creating bionic prosthesis, television for people with visual disabilities, Internet TV, phones with touch, mobile screen with aroma and a new holographic video system.

The creation of bionic prosthesis in one of the advances that allows people with mobility impairments aid to suit everyday life and not have so many needs, since it involves a novel system that allows contact of the skin with metal without causing infection, these prostheses remain in scientific research, and it is estimated that in five years will be fully developed and the first people who will benefit from these creations will be affected by war or military battles.

The program aims to accelerate innovation and business growth in the railway sector in the UK, supporting the development of new technologies to address current and future challenges and meet the needs of users, both in the UK and in the area international rail markets.

Funding comes from various agencies, such as the Technology Strategy Board (TSB), the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and the Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB), the entity created by the rail industry to boost research and development.

The scope of the project were disseminated through a press release from the Technology Strategy Board, and have also been developed in an article published by The Engineer specialized environment.

According to Richard Kemp-Harper, official TSB, funds for foster a change in the British rail industry, which will advance towards more innovative practices and can create exportable products at a time when the use of trains in the world is grown up.
