CHILI SUPPER FUNDRAISER: The Alumni of Girl Scout Troop 370 are holding a “Chili in December” Fundraising

Dinner to help with Mollie Kelly’s expenses. The dinner will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the First Lutheran School Cafeteria. Tickets are a suggested $8 each, and are available from Troop members, First Lutheran School Office, Sunset Baptist Youth Group, or the Ponca City Band. All proceeds will go to Mollie’s family.

CHRISTMAS BREAK DAYCARE will be open on Monday December 21st, Tuesday December 22nd, Monday, December 28th, and Tuesday December 29th. We will be closed December 23rd-25th and December 30th - January 1st.

HOODIE ORDERS: An order form for hoodie’s went home on Monday and is due back this Friday (December 18) so that you can have them by the beginning of January. You may pay now and the hoodies will go home with your student, or you can order now, and pay when you pick the hoodie up in January. If you are interested in ordering a hoodie and did not get the order form, we have more forms available in the office.

AFTER CHRISTMAS CLEAN-UP: After your Christmas gift exchange, if you need to make some room in your kids’ toy boxes, please consider donating any gently used toys to the FLS Daycare. You may leave donations at the daycare or in the school office. Thanks!

LAST CHANCE TO DONATE PONCA CITY SANTA BUCKS! – The school is collecting the donations of Santa Bucks tickets prior to the drawing on Tuesday evening, December 22. If you would like to drop tickets by over the weekend, you can leave them in the black mailbox in front of the administration building and we will check it

Monday and Tuesday. Thank you all for your many donations; we appreciate everyone’s generosity & willingness to share! LAST MINUTE GIFT IDEAS--FIRST LUTHERAN COOKIE COOKBOOK & FLC&S CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS: The LWML

of First Lutheran compiled a cookbook of 300 cookie, candy, and bar recipes. The cookbooks are $5.00 and make great Christmas gifts! Proceeds benefit the First Lutheran School scholarship fund and mission projects locally and around the world. To purchase a cookbook, come by the school office. We also still have 90th anniversary Christmas ornaments for $8.

MUSIC-Mrs. Schelp: Thank you so much to the Kindergarten through 5th grade students who participated in the musical performance at the First Lutheran Christmas Market!! It was a blessing to use our musical talents to sing praise to the newborn King. The members of our church, school, and community who experienced our songs and dances were blessed by our music and message. Thank you again for participating in this event and helping showcase the many talents with which God has blessed our students. Merry Christmas!
