The Germantown School Board approved achange in the district's health insurance carrier Aug.26, choosing Humana to replace longtime providerWEA Trust.
The change will occur Oct. 1. Under the Humanathird option approved by the board, the individualdeductible will be $1,000 within the preferredprovider option (PPO ) in network and $1,500 outsideof it. The family plan will be $2,000 for the PPO innetwork and $3,000 out of it. Under the Humanaplan, the individual out of pocket maximum will be$2,250 while the family out of pocket maximum willbe $4,500.
