What is the Art of Hosting & Harvesting conversations that matter?
The Art of Hosting is a highly effective way of harnessing the collective wisdom and self-organizing capacity of groups of any size. Based on the assumption that people give their energy and lend their resources to what matters most to them in work as in life the Art of Hosting blends a suite of powerful conversational processes to invite people to step in and take charge of the challenges facing them. Purpose:
The purpose of this training is to gather people longing to find new ways of working collaboratively, to move beyond hero leadership towards a participatory approach, which involves everyone in the creation of the solution. About the workshop:
This is an introductory workshop about skill building, practicing and exploring participatory leadership approaches and concepts. Over the 3 days you will: Experience a rich participatory learning environment, hosted by a team
of international, interstate and local practitioners with extensive and diverse experience.
Explore hosting conversations as a core leadership practice and skill
sets for leading change in complex systems. Develop knowledge and competence in interactive processes that
support participatory leadership, Open Space Technology - Appreciative Inquiry - Circle - World Caf - Pro-action Caf.
Discover frameworks and process design tools such as: Chaordic
Design - Theory U Organisational Paradigm and Living System designs. Have the opportunity to invite others to assist you to work on your own
change ideas and projects. Whether your interest lies in policy or national initiatives, local community or personal growth, business change or movement building, youll be surprised what can be achieved when you call on the wisdom of others.
