[email protected] Marriage Tip “What were you arguing about?…If anyone wishes to be first, he shall be the last.” (Mk 9:33,35) This teaching of Jesus parallels the perennial marital argument about who is right. Arguments can often be short-ened if you can give up the need to be right – every time.

Visit: www.foryourmarriage.org Mark your Calendars—Come to the Table – Small faith sharing groups will be meeting during the four weeks of Advent to discuss Catholic beliefs and practices. Participants will be encouraged to meet in neighborhoods to reflect and discuss the Catholic faith and how better to live our faith in daily life. Resources will be provided for group discussions. Start gathering your neighbors and friends for study, prayer, conversation, fellowship and ac-tion! Sign-ups begin the week of October 6 & 7. Baptism Prep Classes - meets on Tuesday, October 16th, from 7 – 9 pm in the Birch Library. You need only one godparent and this person must be Catholic; to have celebrated Confirmation; is at least 16 years of age, and is practicing the faith (attending mass each week and celebrating the sacraments.)

YOUTH MINISTRY Kenn DeMoll
