Eating for a Healthy HEART Ages 18 & upAccording to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Heart dis-ease claims more lives than any other disease in the U.S. Acombination of poor dietary choices and lifestyle factors con-tribute to this and other major diseases. A whole foods anti-inflammatory diet focusing on key nutrients can stop theprogress and in many cases even reverse diseases in theirtracks. Like many leading cardiologists who believe in thepower of nutrition say, ‘Genetics is like a loaded gun. Dietand environmental factors act like a trigger.’ So the goodnews is that genetics alone does not determine one’s suscep-tibility. The new field of Nutrigenomics shed a lot of light onhow we can choose to keep our bad genes turned off andkeep the good genes turned on using key nutrients. Join mein my Healthy Heart workshop this fall where I will discussproven dietary and nutrition protocols, sort through the con-fusion in the field of nutrition by separating facts from myths, and steer you towards a path of wellness and vitality. $9 ma-terial fee due at class.BAR AGE LOC DATE TIME # DAY INST FEE230979 18 & up SHP Sep13 4:00PM-6:30PM 1 Su Ramakrishnan $49
