Assessments due Week 9 (9 December - 13 December)

Year 12: Biology English Studies English Standard

How time flies! Only 10 school days left including today with still so many activities and things to do. It is therefore imperative that students continue to attend all day, everyday to maximise their learning opportunities. Preparation is well underway for our MADD/Showcase Night which will be held next Tuesday 10th December. Door will open at 5pm and entry is free! On display will be works of art by students of all year levels (including the HSC Major Works), photography from the “Through Our Eyes” program, musical items by various students, technology projects and projects from the Stage 4 STEM and PACE classes. We actually got to see a glimpse today of the Formula One cars in action and it was terrific! We encourage one and all to attend this event to support the learning opportunities of which our students are participating. It will be a great evening. An obvious inclusion in our end of year activities is the Annual Presentation Day. This will start at 2pm sharp on Wednesday 11th December at the School Multi Purpose Centre. Students will be recognised for their academic, sporting and citizenship achievements as well as receiving recognition for outstanding attendance and cooperation. We thank our many sponsors for their support and hope to see as many people as possible attend. Finally, I would like to take the opportunity to thank Hutchinson Builders for their support throughout

2019. We have been fortunate to have established a strong partnership which has culminated in the construction of a pathway at the school, all expenses paid! This project gave the opportunity for some of our staff and students to undertake some training in the Construction industry whilst adding to the

infrastructure of the school. The path will be well utilised by students visiting the agriculture plot and coming/leaving school.
