Principal’s Report
A short, quiet week this week. Students in years 5 and 6 worked with the Buckwaroon Landcare Group both at school and on property this week. This is an annual event where students learn skills associated with land care and management. Our Yr 6 students continue their transition to high school program, visiting the high school, working with staff, touring the school and learning the rou-tines they will require next year. This week is School Administrative and Support Staff recognition week. We have fabulous support staff in the school, working in our front office and alongside teachers to achieve the best outcomes for students. Thank you to these quiet achievers for their ongoing contributions to the life of the school. Have a great weekend.

Who Got
Spotted this
week?
Joe Webster
Ernie has been watching Joe around school all term. Joe shows respect for all teachers, visitors and his peers. He is a great role model when he speaks to everyone at assembly and uses a polite
voice when giving messages. He is always willing to give younger students a turn before he has a turn at any events
at school. Ernie thinks Joe makes a great leader at our school!
Respectful
Congratulations
Lexi Hodges
Lexi is doing an amazing job on the SRC. She was
spotted leading the canteen line down at Recess and
Lunch time, ensuring other students walked on the
path in two lines. Lexi shows great leadership and
responsibility.
Responsible
Nevaeh Hines
Ernie was delighted to see that Neveah is always ready to learn and he was most
impressed that Neveah has been doing some amazing
writing this term. Great Job!
Learner
How can I go to the
Positive Behaviour for
Learning Shining Day
at the end of Term 3 ?
I need to collect 10 Merit Awards by Thursday 19th
September 2019.
I can get a merit award by:
* Class merit awards * Collecting ten good eggs. * Reading at home ten times. * Attending excursions. * 100% attendance each term. * Representing the school in the community. * Getting one from a teacher at assembly or sport
I can get a good egg for following the PBL expectations:
Once I get 10 merits, I can go to PBL Shining Day. My teacher will give me a PBL Shining Day Pass to take home.
