Principal’s Report
Thank you to everyone who showed their concern and
support during my recent time off. Thank you also to Mrs Jermyn for a fine job in leading and managing the
school during this time.
It has been a quiet week this week with students settled
and working well in class. Mr Vangelatos has been in
Louth and Pilliga Public Schools this week, and will travel to Engonnia Public School next week to work
with their students producing 3D artefacts using our 3D printer. This work is part of our commitment to
working with our colleagues in isolated schools to
ensure that all students in the public education system are able to access quality learning opportunities.
We have had two prac students in the school over the last month and these trainee teachers finish up at the
end of this week. Thank you for your time working with our students Ms Bowkett and Ms McClaren, we
hope you enjoyed your time at CPS.
Finally thank you to our parents used the form in last
week’s newsletter to inform us of your use of the
mid-term break. This is valuable data and we thank you
all for taking the time to assist with this.

Indy Negfeldt
RESPECTFUL
LEARNER
Ernie was super excited when he spotted
Shaughnessy in the playground during lunch
break, because she was being very responsible
with the equipment and using it for its purpose.
He also noticed that when she was playing out
on the oval she stayed in bounds at all times.
Shaughnessy is a very RESPONSIBLE
RESPECTFUL,LEARNER. Well done Shaughnessy.
Indy Negfeldt was spotted this week being
a respectful student during class. Indy
showed her teacher and class mates that
she is a careful listener who speaks politely
to others. Ernie isalways happy to see
children who not only understand what
RESPECT is but show respect every day at
school. Well done Indy!
Khloe Oeser-Harpley
Ernie has spotted Khloe who is always prepared for
learning. She is ready to put her hand up to answer
questions and works well as a spelling buddy in class.
Ernie has noticed that Khloe shows a lot of enthusiasm
with everything she attempts. Ernie loves to see
students concentrating all the time and that's what he
saw Khloe doing. You are a fantastic role model Khloe.
Keep it up!
