• Ich bin Einzelkind (only child)
• Married 28 years
• Husband teachers history and coaches
• Have 3 dogs (Indy, Kai, and Miss T) and 1 cat (Shiloh)
• Hobbies include travel, dog-walking, and Tai-Chi

GSS Abitall: These are three of my 2000-2001 eighth graders at their Abiball on June 24, 2006. Everybody went out to the terrace to watch the World Cup soccer game between Germany and Poland during “breaks” in the program.
About Me
• Earned Bachelor’s Degrees (BA/BSE) and Master’s Degree from NEMO (now called Truman University)
• Have been teaching for 26 years, 16 of which are at SGHS and SGMS
• Taught one year in Konstanz, Germany
• Currently teaching Middle School German Culture and History, and High School German I, II, III, and IV
• Currently sponsoring German Club

About German Classes
• All middle school foreign language classes are one semester in length. These courses concentrate on culture or history.
• All four levels of high school German are college prep courses.
• German IV is a double-weighted class.
