Thanks for helping make the day special! Please send in your Box Tops for Education points that can be found on many food and other products to help our class in the school contest. As you are able, please consider donating canned goods for our chapel offering this month. It's always exciting when the Book Fair is here! Notes were sent home regarding the special mom and dad events next week. God bless your week!

PRE-KINDERGARTEN - Mrs. Kelly: Thank you all for the love, support and prayers shown to my family and I. They have helped in this process of dealing with the loss of our precious daughter Mollie! Please continue to remember us in your prayers.

Thank you for your love, support and prayers during this difficult time in our lives! Thank you for the wonderful gift card! We are planning a memory garden for our daughter Mollie, and plan to use it to purchase something special to put in the garden. Thank you Mrs. Mayer for stepping in and taking care of my kids while I was out and being here this week with me! Please remember to send your Grandparents Day confirmation form back tomorrow. We need this count to plan for our program. Our Chapel offering this month is canned food for the food pantry, or money for the Angel Tree gifts. Please consider helping with both of these. We are still collecting Sunny D labels and box tops. Our Bible words this week are, Give us this day our daily bread. Matthew 6:11 We are learning the letter "I” and the number "7" this week. Have a blessed week!

in their jacket so they don't get lost. The whole school is collecting food for hungry families. Please bring canned food to our room. Thank you so much! Our grandparents' day will be on November 24th. Your children will bring an invitation home for their grandparents soon (when I get them). We are working hard getting ready for our grandparents. Have a wonderful week! Next week on Friday the 20th is our field trip to Tonkawa and we will ride the bus to NOC to watch a play (A Year with Frog and Toad).

FIRST GRADE – Mrs. Birnbaum: Memory verse for Friday - Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened...for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go, Joshua 1:9. The Book Fair starts next week, see the note about times and special events for the book fair. Bring in your box tops by Nov. 20. Please attach them to the sheet that was provided. If you

need more sheets, please let me know. The class that collects the most will be treated to a pizza party! We are also collecting canned goods. Please bring those to the classroom. We are also having a penny war for Mrs. Kelly. Just a reminder that next Friday, Nov. 20 will be our field trip to NOC to see a play. Blessings on your week.

SECOND GRADE – Mrs. Powell: THIRD GRADE - Mrs. Steichen: Penny War is on!! The kids are super excited about our penny war, they are

bombing classes with silver every morning. Keep it coming!! Chapel offering is going to the Angel Tree and we are also collecting cans, our class currently has the most with 19. This week: Spelling test on Friday, no Reading test or paragraph this week. Friday will also be a take home Social Studies Test. Grandparents Day: please be on the look out for costume information, I will need these on Tuesday, November 17. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Also, please be working on lines at home, we are running out of time to memorize those. Memory: This week is the 2nd Commandment said to me on Friday, and next week will be the 3rd Commandment. Please continue to keep Mrs. Kelly and her family in your prayers. Have a wonderful week!!

FOURTH GRADE - Mrs. Sibley: Oh my how the weather is changing! Remember to take your coat with you wherever you go in the changing weather. I pray that we keep healthy as the weather is changing. Keep reading for AR and Book-IT. From all calendars turned in we read 12,698 pages for October. Please continue to be marking those calendars so we know how many pages we read as a class. November’s calendars are due after Thanksgiving break.

We are already coloring in pieces for our pizza party. FIFTH GRADE - Mrs. Schatte: I hope everyone has been able to be outdoors and enjoy the beautiful weather we've

been blessed to experience. It's hard to believe its November and Thanksgiving is just around the corner. It will be cold before we know it. We took social studies test 3 today and math test 6 and language test 3 is tomorrow. Blessings!

MIDDLE SCHOOL 11/9-14 Shidler Tournament (8th Grade) 11/11 FLSCA, 7:30, Early Childhood Bldg 11/17 Dewey Tournament (6th)

Mrs. Goll: We thank our Veterans for helping us celebrate this day. But more, we thank all service men and

women and veterans for their service to our country. We're looking forward to the Book Fair next week. Thank you, Mrs. Ware and Mrs. Oswalt and all, for arranging this for us. Please check out my Fast Direct Bulletin Board for information on math. Blessings on your week.

Student Council: The Student Council is sponsoring a Penny War to support a memorial for Mollie Kelly. The

students are already hard at work bringing pennies and other coins. Ask your student how this works. And please keep Mrs. Kelly and her family in your prayers.

Mrs. Harbeson: Hello Everyone! I hope you all are doing well and had a restful weekend. We have a lot going on this week! Today is the mid-quarter mark of the second nine weeks. You and your student will receive a letter/message if any grades are below a 70%. Please, make sure that all work is handed in and is done to the best of your ability! If you are absent, it is your job to go to each of your teachers and get your assignments. Basketball and cheer have started up this week so it is imperative to use your time wisely at school. Remember, almost all students have a 30 minute study hall each and every day. This is the best time to get extra help from a teacher or get that homework done so you have little to none to do once you go home. Sixth graders, our class will be singing in chapel on Wednesday, November 18; we will be singing and delivering cards for the assisted living residents at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19; and we will singing in church on Sunday, November 22. Parents, I will be sending home a letter with more information, and I will also be asking for a few of you to help get us to our destination on Thursday afternoon. We will leave the school at 2:00 and return by 3:10. That's all I have for now. Please check my webpage (harbolanguage.blogspot.com) to see what your student will be doing in class this week. Blessings!!

Mrs. Hanson: Mr. Covert: We’re halfway through the second quarter! Things are moving right along in class as we started up

basketball season as well.

4 Growing up Into Jesus, Reaching Out with Jesus, Walking Together in Jesus

In 8th grade, we’re wrapping up our look at the Constitution this week, and we’re moving into the Federalist Era. We’re going to see how the decisions and actions of our first leaders shaped us into the nation we are today. In 7th grade, we’re starting our study of Canada, both in physical characteristics and the history of our northern neighbor. In 6th grade, we’ve finished talking about the Greeks themselves, and we’re going to start discussing the spread of Greek culture, mostly thanks to a man from Macedonia named Alexander. I pray that God continues to bless all of us as we continue to do His work!
