Teen Center back to City Council for Vote

Sunday, May 1, 2011 following the Cinco de Mayo Parade, supporters marched in an effort, “to stop inhumane detention and abuse of im-migrants,” said Luis Magaña, Coordinator of the May 1st Marches.

May Day is known for the historic landmarks in the labor movement. In 1884, the union fo-rerunner of the American Federation of Labor pushed a resolution for an eight (8) hour work day. “We continue to march because we want to raise awareness. We want the president and everyone else, from congress to know that we demand to be recognized NOW!,” said Angel Picon, Regional Coordinator of Alliance of Californians for Com-munity empowerment.

“San Joaquin is one of the Counties with more deportation across California,” said Magaña.

Teen Center back to City Council for Vote

Stockton, CA — Two months into Stockton Teen Center contract with the City of Stockton, Fathers and Families of San Joaquin (FFSJ) leadership becomes unclear to city officials subsequent to e-mail sent by Motecozuma “Patric” San-chez. The result, City’s At-torney recommends halting the contract which is pending Council’s vote.

On April 26, 2011, con-cerns citizens lined up at City Council’s Public Comment, in their majority to support Sammy Nunez, Executive Director of FFSJ, as City Officials. “I am concern that as the founder of this agency I was not allowed to defend myself,” Said Nunez,

The nearly two dozen members passionate over the Teen Center included faith based groups, Latino leaders, members representing an elderly population, and teens who shared success stories by FFSJ services. Following more than an hour of support toward Mr. Nunez, Sandra Runny FFSJ Former Trea-surer questioned the agency’s ability to run the Teen Center, “I resigned follow-ing financial, oversight and accountability concerns…” Said Runny, “I advice the city to exercise caution.”

FFSJ has been pending City Council to vote on the continuation or discontinua-tion of their contract. Laurie Montes Program Manager III at City of Stockton, “We recommend that FFSJ work with Family Resource and Referral in the future.”

candidato en quitarle le presidencia al Partido Revolucionario Insti-

tucional (PRI) —monopolio que mantuvo por más de 70 años. A

“presidente del cambio” lo “nuevo” de Fox no duró mucho y su ad-

ministración no tuvo éxito en cambiar los problemas más importantes del vecino del sur: revitalizar la economía,

controlar la endémica corrupción y controlar el poder del narcotráfico. De hecho, las estadísticas sugieren que la

mayor parte de los inmigrantes mexicanos indocumentados que se encuentran hoy en los EEUU arribaron durante los

seis años que duró su administración.COnciente que estaba en Stockton, Fox envió un “Gran

Saludo” a sus paisanos” recordándole a la prensa y a la au-diencia cuan importantes son los inmigrantes a la economía

President Vicente Fox said and repeated during his day-an-a-half stay in Stockton this Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7, 2011.

Fox was invited by the University of the Pacific’ Latino Pacific Club & Cien Amigos, attending a string of receptions and events, and delivering the keynote speech for Pacific 2011 Commencement Ceremony on Satur-day.

In 2000, Fox managed to be the first can-didate to wrestle the Mexican presidency from

the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) —a monopoly it held for more than 70 years.

Although elected as the “president for change” Fox “newness” soon weaned and his administra-

tion did not succeed on changing any of the core problems of the southern neighbor:

revitalizing the economy, chec-king endemic corruption

and drug cartel’s power. As a

matter of fact, statis-

tics suggest the greatest number of Mexican undocumented immigrant present today in the U.S. left Mexico during his 6-year administration.

Aware he was in Stockton, Fox delivered a “Gran Salu-do (Great Salute) to my paisanos (countrymen)” reminding press and attendees how important migrants are to the U.S. economy and wellbeing. “Migrants bring loyalty, capacity, quality, and values for this nation,” he said, “they are my heroes!”

Regarding the immigration stalemate, Fox complained (former) President Bush did miss a great opportunity to have a sensible reform. Decried the Arizona anti-immi-grant laws and warned Texas was following a bad example. Insisting immigrants are not a burden, but an asset, Fox proposed that the next generation of U.S. retirees is going to be sustained by them. He also warned the jobs that Mexicans would not fill in the United States, would soon be filled by China or India “and the jobs will leave for the

In a eight hour event on Saturday May 7th, the Comision Honorifica Mexicana (Honorific

Mexican Comission) called upon natives Mexican State Michoacan in a non-partisan push to register voters abroad. The goal was to promote an innovative approach to voting abroad by Michocans on the election of November 13, 2011.

Durante el Sabado 7 de Mayo, la Comi-s i o n H o n o r i f i c a Mexicana, conocida

como la Jamaica, cito a nativos de Michoacán en un esfuerzo no-partidario a registrar votantes en el extranjero. La finalidad promover la nueva iniciativa de admitir votos de los Michoacanos radicando en el extranjero para las próximas elecciones del 13 de Noviembre 2011.

“El voto es un derecho y una obligación,” nos recordo Carlos Gonzales Gutierrez, Consul Gener-al de México, Region Sacramento.

Estadísticas del Instituto Michoacano demuestran que aproximadamente 108 mil Micho-acos con credencial de votante residen en EEUU. “Nos prepara-mos con 3,000 solicitudes,” nos explico Leonardo Tenorio Cansino representante del Instituto, “Todo Michoacano con tarjeta electoral de votante se puede registrar y participar.”

El registro se mantiene abierto as el 6 de Julio. Todos interesados en registrarse pueden peticionar su formulario disponible en las ofici-nas del Consul General de Mexico en Sacramento, en la Jamaica o por Internet, www.votamichoacan.org.mx.

During the morning of Cinco de Mayo the California State Assembly debated

and passed Assembly Bill (AB) 130 —The California Dream Act— legislation that proposes to a l low s t ude nt s , w i t h unauthorized immigration status residing in California, to receive privately funded college scholarships. A s s embl y memb er Gilbert Cedillo Author of the bill, and responsible for other similar bills in the past 6-years, hopes to have a better shot at having the Governor’s signature

this year. “We have a strong base of community members, organizations and students that support the Dream Act, in Los Angeles and the Bay Area,” said Luis Quiñonez, Cedillos’ Legislative Aide at the Concilio’s Coalition meeting — nearly a week earlier. Quiñonez advocated San Joaquin County to support, “I am here to reach out to folks in the various communities in Northern California.” A 51-21 vote passed the bill which now moves to the Senate. “Students have the right to education, while it is illegal to hire them; it is not illegal to educate them” said Cedillo.

He claims the transport, deli-very, financing and consuming of drugs “are all done in U.S. territory” and —while praising current Mexican President Cal-deron for his bravery on taking on the cartels, he criticized his decision to use the Army to do “police work” He insisted the Army repeatedly violates human rights because they are not an institution meant to deal with civilians.

He stressed the root of the problem is that drug use is illegal… if drugs were to be legal and controlled, the problem would go away, he said. “It’s like Prohibition (1920-1933),” he added, “it did not work then, why will it work now?” he asked rhetorically. He cited Portugal’s case, where drug legalization reduced the problem by 25 percent. Finally he said that —although drug consumption is an individual decision— it’s the government

Enfatizó que el meollo del problema es que las drogas son ilegales… si las drogas

fuesen legales y controladas, se acabaría el problema, dijo. “Es

como La Prohibición (1920-1933), añadió, “no funcionó entonces ¿por qué habría de funcionar ahora?” preguntó retóricamente. Citó el caso

de Portugal, donde la legal-ización de las drogas redujo el problema en un 25 por ciento. Finalmente dijo que —aunque

el consumo de drogas en una decisión personal— los

gobiernos tienen la obligación de de educar e informar “a las

No todo fueron bienvenidas para el ex-estadista. Al frente

del University Plaza Water-front Hotel (antes Lexington Plaza) un pequeño grupo de

manifestantes —liderados por el activista local Luis Magaña,

sostuvieron pancartas culpando a Fox por el último éxodo de

campesinos mexicanos hacia el Norte, y por la corrupción que llevó a la actual guerra narco.

San Joaquin County — hace un año durante la primera semana de Mayo 2010, cho-

La ex primera dama de México, Martha Sahagún de Fox, dio el discurso principal

en la Cuarta Ceremonia Anual de Graduación Latina, el Viernes 6 de Mayo en el Grace Covell Hall de la Universidad del Pacifico.

“Hoy es un día muy impor-tante es por eso que estamos aquí Vicente y yo,” dijo Martha Sahagún.

La ceremonia reconoció el liderazgo y las contribuciones de los estudiantes Latinos gradua-dos del Pacifico, tales como Julio Rodríguez and Diana Sánchez Echeverría, quienes ganaron el Premio a la mejor Latina y Latino del Año. El miembro de la facul-tad, Dr. Arturo Campo también fue reconocido con el premio de Personal del Año.

Sahagún habló con los estu-diantes y sus familias acerca del valor y compromiso social que trae el tener una educación, “Es su tarea ahora, el empujar a los otros jóvenes para que busquen oportunidades para ser parte de una universidad como esta,” dijo Sahagún.

“Me siento muy afortunada de tener a alguien tan prestigiosa venir a hablar con nosotros, en un día como hoy, “dijo Rebecca Torres, quien se graduó en Ingeniería, después de recibir una banda de manos de Sahagún.

cup title, “Soccer City Cup.”“This tournament has a concept to bring

Northern California cities together,” explained Abel Godoy, co-coordinator of the tournament. Among the present cities were Stockton, Fairfield, Elk Grove, Yuba City, y Salinas.

Each city was represented by 6 teams with 6 different categories; which included children ages 6 to 16.

In support of sportsmanship was Carlos Gonzalez Gutierrez, General Consulate of Mexico, Sacramento Region, who presented the winners with their awards. All partici-pants were given a team uniform as a form of appreciation for their participation.

It takes a gargantuan effort to launch even a single shuttle. STS-135 “last Space Shuttle mission” is a bitter-sweet final launch. Behind the scenes, thousands unseen heroes all collaborate in what amounts to a minor miracle every time a mission is successfully brought to conclusion.

Reading statistics regarding what it takes to lift the 4.5 million ton shuttle machine to its orbit, be-tween 115 and 400 miles high, I was deeply impressed. In his on-line article, “How Space Shuttles Work” Craig Freudenrich, Ph.D. lists the following components: two solid rocket boosters (SRB), three main engines of the orbiter, the external fuel tank (ET), or-bital maneuvering system (OMS) on the orbiter.

“The SRBs are solid rockets that provide most of the main force, 71%, needed to lift the space shuttle off the launch pad. In addition, the SRBs support the entire weight of the space shuttle orbiter and fuel tank. There are many details to this process. Each SRB has the following parts: solid rocket motor - case, propellant, igniter, nozzle; solid propellant; fuel - atomized aluminum (16 percent); oxidiz-ers - ammonium perchlorate (70 percent); catalyst - iron oxide powder (0.2 percent); binder - polybutadiene; acrylicacid acrylonite (12 percent); curing agent - epoxy resin (2 percent); jointed structure; synthetic rubber o-rings between joints; flight instruments; recovery systems; parachutes (drogue, main); floatation devices; signal-ing devices; explosive charges for separating from the external tank; thrust control systems; self-destruct mechanism.” “Wow,” I thought. “It’s almost as complicated as launching a new royal wedding.”

… and so, from beside a hospital

bed, I glanced up and saw in just a moment’s news, our atten-tion was swinging from Cape Canaveral to London, and back again. But I couldn’t help travel-ling back in time, to that fateful day when another famous royal couple wed before the enchanted eyes of the entire world. How radiant were they, Charles and Lady Diana, in the beginning!

And yet even their marriage carried within it mechanisms of self-destruction. Charles and Di were united in matrimony, in fact, just 109 days after the first shuttle, Columbia, was launched. As we watched Elton John make his entry into Westminster Ab-bey yesterday, I could almost hear him singing, once again, “Candle in the Wind.”

For decades the British have debated whether or not main-taining the royalty is worth all the trouble. Yet their obsession with the royal family continues, undaunted by all the scandals, the gossip, the empty pageantry, and the pain. After all, William is the son of beloved Princess Diana, and in some sense, in the beautiful week of Easter, has resurrected her memory. We all hope and pray that this mar-riage will succeed. Everything happened with British precision, even down to that well-practiced kiss so carefully scrutinized by the press.

Unfortunately, us Americans did not fare so well. As Donna Leinwand Leger wrote for USA Today, “NASA abruptly canceled the launch of space shuttle endeavor on Friday, ruining what was to be a historic day brimming with the emotion of gravely wounded Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords as she saw her husband command the shuttle program’s next-to-last flight into space.” What a dismal outcome, when we hoped that the com-bined power of 200 tornadoes

could have been redeemed in the launching of an event to rival the royal wedding. It seems as if the British will keep on launching new royal families, long after the Space Shuttle program has been mothballed. I wonder if they haven’t got something to teach us, after all. Meanwhile, I listen to Elton John, singing - you guessed it - “- and it seems to me that you lived your life like a candle in the wind......your candle burned out long before your legend ever did…” But the legend-making doesn’t end in Florida, nor in London, but in Rome.

890 miles Southeast of Westmin-ster stands another monolithic church, one which, as I write this paragraph, is swelling with crowds even greater and more enthusiastic than those which Friday jammed the streets of London.

This basilica is named, of course, St. Peter’s, and the faithful are gathering from around the world not for a temporal event, but rather for a declaration that bears significance for all eternity. For today, May 1st, John Paul II will be pronounced “blessed”. And just as Mother Theresa quietly slipped into eternity, just days af-ter Lady Di’s traumatic accident and death riveted the attention of billions worldwide. So now the greatest pope of the last century - and doubtlessly one of history’s greatest men - will launch into the orbit of those approaching sainthood in this second stage called “Beatification”.

But it’s not the Roman Catholic Church which has made this determination - any more than the British Army forged Kate and William’s love or NASA first conceived of an orbiter which could return to earth. The deci-sion was God’s, and the Pope’s. The Church is simply there to weigh the evidence.

Toma un grandioso esfuerzo el lanzar una nave espacial. “La ultima misión espacial” STS-135 es un lanzamiento final agri-dulze. Tras la escena, miles de héroes escondidos colaboran en lo que pareciera un pequeño milagro cada vez que una misión concluye.

Ahora el mas grande papa de el ultimo siglo, -y sin duda uno de los hombres con grande historia- lanzara a la orbita aquellos que llegan a la santidad en la segunda etapa llamada “Beatificación”.

Pero no es la Iglesia Católica Ro-mana la que tomo esta decisión – al igual que las fuerzas armadas de Inglaterra forja el amor de Kate y William o la NASA concebío su primer orbitador que logro regresar a la tierra. Esta decisión fue de Dios, y el Papá. La iglesia simplemente esta para demostrar la evidencia.

Cambiando el Centro de la Cuidad de Tracy

I recently went to a planning commission meeting in Tracy. It was no different than any other planning

commission meeting that I have been to in the last 12 years. The only difference was that this time they wanted input from the citizens. You ask why? The reason is the city like others, is in big trouble in the inter cities. The lack of shoppers in the downtown areas because of the sluggish economy, plus no jobs to bring people to the downtown areas. The meeting was centered around bringing a new look to the downtown, so what they discussed was to cut the core of the downtown, and condense the business area to do some downtown changes. Changes such as office and small shops such as nail salons and hair shops. As one business owner stated, he liked the idea because it would be a temporary fill for the vacant shops until things got better. We all felt a little uneasy when he said that because he was just hoping it would get better.Somehow, only a few felt as he did and they were with the City of Tracy. One of the big issues that was never brought up was

until one of the guests said, “we need shoppers as well as business’s,” and “who was going to go down town at 7 PM after traveling 4 hours to and from work and working for 10 hours.” Then to come up town and to find out half of the shops are closed. The traditional shops should be open just as they are around Christmas. It seems like when we have the WINE STROLLS, the city is booming downtown. We hear all about the transient drunks downtown and how unsafe it is. Is that really the true problem? I believe it is that the downtown has nothing to offer the people of Tracy, except a few specialty shops. Even the FARMERS MARKETS, who get major publicity in most downtown cities, seems to be more of a nuisance these days according to Ron Pardini Executive Director of Urban Village Farmers Market Association of Fremont Ca. The reasons are unknown but it might have something to do with the high cost of the growers delivering the produce to markets because of the gas costs going up and charging more for the produce. So as we can see, the

volatile poor economy is hurting everyone. When street vendors start going out of business we have a great problem. What troubled me was the fact that a local business owner is selling his property to the city and their thoughts are that we need another small independent grocer y store. What I see is that we have three major chains that will be closing about three stores in the town, so how does that equate to put a small business at risk to satisfy some special interest property owner? As one of the visiting citizens at the meeting said TAKE THE GOVERNMENT OUT OF THE EQUATION AND LET BUSINESS TAKE CARE OF IT’S SELF. Boy did that get a response from a few people. Now we come to the bottom line of the whole mess. Does the city have the right to cut the size of downtown to accommodate a few city officials or special interest business owners who are looking to get someone elected to a higher office in 2012?

Cuidad de Tracy. No fue nada diferente en comparación a todas las otras juntas a las que yo e ido por los últimos 12 años en la comisión de plantación. La única diferencia fue el que peticionaron que los ciudadanos dieran su opinión. No se preguntan porque? La razón es por que esta ciudad como otras, tiene grabes problemas internos. Faltan compras en el área central por la lenta economía, mas no hay trabajos para enlazar a la gente al centro. El enfoque de la junta tenia un enfoque en bridar una nueva fachada al centro de la cuidad, así que su conversación fue el recortar el centro y condensar el área comercial para ofrecer cambio al centro. Cambios como of ic ina y pequeños comercios así como centros de bella. Como dijo un pequeño empresario, que le gusto la idea porque ofrece un relleno temporal para aquellas tiendas vacantes asta que las cosas mejoren. Todos nos sentimos

incómodos porque parece que el esta esperanzado que todo mejorara de alguna manera, unos cuantos estuvieron de acuerdo y fueron aquellos con la Cuidad de Tracy. Uno de los probemos mas grabes que nunca se discutió, asta que uno de los inv itados lo menciono es, “necesitamos mas comercio incluyendo compradores y negocios,” y “quien visitara el centro a las 7 PM después de viajar 4 horas y de trabajar 10 horas.” Y quien vendrá al centro que tiene la mitad de su comercio cerrado. El resto de las tiendas solo abren durante la navidad. Parece que cuando tenemos eventos como WINE STROLLS, la cuidad esta viva en el centro. Escuchamos de aquellos vagabundos borrachos y que peligroso es el centro. ¿Será el problema real? Yo creo que es el centro que no tiene nada que ofrecer a los residentes de Tracy, excepto unos cuantos negocios con especia l idades. A sta los Farmers Markets (Mercados Ambulantes de Granjeros), que son bien promovidos en muchas otros municipios, pareciera ser un fastidio estos días de acuerdo a Ron Pardini, Director Ejecutivo de Urban Village Farmer Market Association de la Cuidad de Fremont, CA. No

se sabe el porque de sus razones pero pudiera ser que es muy caro para producir y llevar el producto a los mercados por el alto costo de la gasolina y el alto costo de los productos. Así que podemos ver como la economía de pobreza le esta afectando a todos. Cuando los vendedores en las calles están cerrando sus negocios tenemos un grande problema. Lo que me preocupa a mi es que un empresario chico le este vendiendo su propiedad a la cuidad y su pensamiento es que necesitamos una pequeña tienda de abarrotes. Lo que veo es que hay solo tres grandes tiendas colorativas que cerraran a otras tres tiendas locales, así que cual es la ecuación el arriesgar a un negocio local para satisfacer el interés especial de un propietario? Como dijo un participante de la junta, SAQUEN AL GOBIERNO DE LA ECUACION Y DEJEN QUE LOS NEGOCIOS SE ARRELEN A SI MISMOS. Eso si recibió comentarios de la gente. Ahora llegamos al fondo del enredo. La cuidad tendrá el derecho de recortar el tamaño el área central de la cuidad para acomodar unos mandatarios de la cuidad o unos cuantos i ntere se s e spe c ia le s que buscan elegir a unos en puestos políticos mas altos en 2017.

A Country with Dignity

Regardless of how we feel about the man w ho l i ve s i n t he White House, he is

as a leader. We have to give him, and those who worked with him, accolades for giving Osama bin Laden a dignified burial. They prevented more blood shed and in some ways made up for the so called religion people in Florida who burned the Koran. Osama was a killer, terrorist,

vile person and other names we could add to his already illustrious list, but he was and will continue to be a leader and hero to many who could still do bodily harm to us as a nation.

We have a friend who drives fuel trucks in Afghanistan, and he stated, the carnage that happened to our service and civilian personal aft the burning of the Koran was horrible. He said it was amazing to watch big macho men sob as they took care of these bodies.

When the news of the death of Osama were broadcasted, I couldn’t help but reflect on

the terror that could have reined. Yes, I am going to say, “Thank you Mr. President” for having respect for his religion.” Currently, just as we did after 9/11 we seem to be a unified nation. To bad it has to take tragedy to make this happen. Why do we not have respect for others opinions, religions, political persuasion, etc. There are many t hings I intended to cover regarding the latest mud slinging as Republicans, The Governor, Immigration etc., but they can wait for another day. But, at least for this day and time we are united and for that we are blessed.

Una Nacion con Dignidad

No importa como nos sentimos sobre el liderazgo del hombre que vive en la Casa

Blanca. Le devemos de dar a el, y a aquellos que trabajan con el, elogios por verle dado a Osama bin laden un sepelio digno. Ellos previnieron que se derramara mas sangre y en alguna forma nos recuperamos por la accion

de el grupo religioso en Florida que quemo el Quran. O s a m a f u e u n a s e s i n o , terrorista, un villano y otras expresiones se pueden agregar a su lista ilustre, pero fue y sera el lider y eroe de muchos que asta la fecha pueden dañarnos como nacion.Tenemos un amigo que maneja camiones de gas en Afghanistan, y el dijo, la matanza que le paso a nuestro personal militar y personas civiles cuando se quemo el Koran fue horrible. El dijo que fue increíble ver a hombres machos grandes llorar cuando recogían los cuerpos. Cuando los noticieros informaron sobre la muerte de Osama, Yo no pude evitar el reflejar en el terror que pudo generarse. Si, lo voy a decir,

“Gracias Sr. Presidente por tener respeto a su religión.” Presentemente, al igual que depuse del 11 de Septiembre pareciera que estamos unidos como nación. Es malo que tiene que suceder una tragedia para que esto pase. Porque no tendremos respeto sobre la opinión de otros, la religiones, y visión política, etc.Hay muchas otras cosas cuales me gustaría cubrir como los deslaves de lodo y republicanos, el gobernador, inmigración, etc., pero se pueden esperar para otro dia. Pero por lo menos por ahora estamos unidos y por eso estamos bendecidos.

Confundida con Cinco de Mayo Le agradezco a todos los representantes que lograron las festividades del Cinco de Mayo. Claro que Cinco de Mayo es apropiado para San Joaquin puesto que logramos sobre pasar obstáculos en estos desafíos económicos, crisis de vivienda, alto crimen, y una mala reputación gracias a Forbes. Mientras todos disfrutamos el evento, el tema de los 200 años de independencia no se debió de mezclar con la batalla de puebla. El mensaje de unión es apropiado pero confuso en este día. May MarchesI am very disappointed that the cinco

de Mayo march was scheduled for the same day as the May Day march. Immigrants through out the US have

revitalized the May Day marches. May Day was started in Chicago in 1886 where there was a general strike for the eight hour day. This march and

strike was lead by immigrants for better working conditions and since

then it has been a rallying call to better working conditions around the world.

This May Day march should be to unite all workers citizen and immigrant to

fight for equal treatment in all aspects of our life employment, health care,

education, transportation etc, etc.May Day would be the time to join

forces with our unions, community groups, church groups and

immigration groups

Marcha de MayoEstoy decepcionado que la marcha de Cinco de Mayo fue agendaza el mismo dia que la Marcha de Mayo. Inmigrantes por todo EEUU han revivido las marchas del dia de Mayo. El Dia de Mayo inicio en Chicago en 1886 donde paso una huelga general peticionando por un dia de labor de ocho horas. Esta marcha y huegla fue dirigida por inmigrantes para mejorar las condiciones de empleo y desde entonces ha sido un llmado para mejora las condiciones de empleo por todos lados del mundo. Esta marcha de Día de Mayo deveria de ser para unir todos los trabajadores ciudadanos e inmigrantes para pelear por trato igual en todos los aspectos de empleo, covertura de salud, educación, transporte, etc, etc.Dia de Mayo es para unir fuerza entre uniones, gruopos comunitarios, grupos de iglesias groupos de inmigración.

Confused about Cinco de Mayo

I thank all officials who were responsible for making Cinco de

Mayo a festive day. Clearly Cinco de Mayo is appropriate for San

Joaquin as we come many obstacles in this economic challenges, housing

crisis, high crimes, and a Forbes reputation. While we all enjoyed

this event, having the 200 years of independence is not a topic which should have been mixed with the

battle of Puebla. The message was of unity and proper but confusing for

the day.
