• Keeping your mind and body safe while on computers.

WHY SHOULD I CARE ABOUT DIGITAL HEALTH AND

WELLNESS?• Can cause serious problems such as

-excessive fatigue

-withdrawal from friends and family

-academic problems

• Electronics can be hazardous

INTERNET ADDICTION

• People use internet for excessive hours daily

• Warning signs

-lack of sleep/ feeling tired throughout the day

-feeling separated when not near the computer

-irritability when taken away from computer

ERGONOMICS

• Safe physical use of the computer

• Includes

-sitting on the chair correctly

-holding the mouse lightly

-safe distance from the screen

-sitting for long periods of time
