THE WORLD’S FIRST... ABOUT US

In June 2009, TTXGP held the world’s first fully sanctioned zero carbon emission

road race. This took place at one of the world’s most notorious road races, the Isle

of Man TT. TTXGP set a world class challenge to the sustainable green industry,

which they met, proving clean technology was not only viable, but cool, fun and

quick too.

In November 2009, TTXGP sister business, Mavizen, launched the world’s first

production eSuperbike to the global media at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas and

received huge positive coverage worldwide from Australia to Korea. Mavizen

delivered to its first customer in April 2010. Many manufacturers have talked

about doing this, but we are still the only company delivering tomorrow’s

technology today. Action, not talk, drives change.

TTXGP is currently hosting the world’s first fully fledged eGrandPrix with three

regional championships and a World TTXGP FINAL where we will crown the best

and fasted zero carbon emission motorcycle team in the world.

2011 SEASONTremendous growth:

In 2011, TTXGP expects a similar rate of growth, with more

races in each regional championship and more championships

across the globe, making it easier for you to be part of it.

Furthermore, in order to facilitate the growth of electric

motorcycle racing, make it as easy as possible to enter and

MARKETING AND SPONSORSHIPAs a new, topical and high profile racing series the opportunities for a sponsor carry great potential.

Incentives include:

• advertising at events, on the website, clothing, bikes and print media

• the possibility of using bikes for events, advertising and attending races.

Additionally, not only can the advertising be a unidirectional agreement, but the sponsorship of a racing series implementing

the use of green energy is obviously a well respected venture.

TTXGP employ a policy whereby both financial and non-financial support are regarded as equally important and commercial

THE COMPETITION

The TTXGP rules are designed to promote the philosophy of the series, providing a safe and competitive platform for

innovation and advances in technology.

In 2011, there will be two sets of electrical rules, one applied to each class, but mechanical rules will be the same

throughout and have been derived from petrol racing to ensure maximum safety for competitors.

There are extensive rules regarding most aspects of designing a motorcycle, but as previously mentioned, the rules are

wiki-based and TTXGP encourages teams to provide their input and suggestions. The series is designed for teams and

competitors, so your opinion is extremely valuable to us. After establishing the wiki system, input has come from all

around the world and from people with varying backgrounds and involvement. The creation of two classes in the series is

a result of wiki discussions, highlighting the influence teams and followers can have on the next generation of

Finally, with such a wealth of experience available on our technical panel, provided by the IET, any discrepancies can be

quickly resolved and clarification of rules can be quickly arranged to facilitate the ease and speedy design of machines. All

members of the technical panel are contractually bound by non-disclosure agreements, should any issues arise regarding

designs or information considered of a sensitive or commercially advantageous by a team.

ENTRYThe TTXGP entry process is designed to be as simple as possible,

whilst maintaining safety standards. The first stage of registration is

through the egrandprix.com website, which will only ask for very basic

information. Registered teams will then receive the latest information

and news. When the team is ready to move through the registration

process, more information regarding the team is required so that a

full team profile can be created on the website and they can be

included in any appropriate media releases.

Prior to racing, Technical Communication Files must be completed and

uploaded to an online database that will then be submitted to the

technical panel for assessment. Should any issues arise, the technical

panel will work with the team to resolve the problem and suggest a

countermeasure. Only matters of safety will be assessed and

method of ensuring safety and it is in the best interests to help teams

successfully complete this process, so any difficulties experienced at

any stage of the entry process will be supported by either the TTXGP

“The first electric motorcycle race in the American TTXGP series was held at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, Calif., on

Sunday. Shawn Higbee, a competitor in the AMA Superbike series, won the 11-lap event aboard a bike built in a

collaboration between Zero Motorcycles and Agni Motors, the electric motor manufacturer responsible for the

winning machine in last year’s electric race on the Isle of Man.

electric bikes at the Isle of Man TT as a joke too.

When the flag drops on Friday, June 12, though, the TTXGP will be the first zero-emissions grand prix in history. Notoriously

tough on both man and machine, “the Island” is the perfect place to test the promise of electric motorcycles. And with 17

international teams lining up to do just that, with the official backing of the world governing body for motorcycle sport, the

event will be a genuine trial of performance and stamina.
