A New Kind of International Business School The Toulouse region has a reputation of being free, rebellious and creative. Throughout the history of this region, its people have developed new forms of govern-ment (the Capitouls the twelfth century, for example), have brought closer what was distant (the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, in the seventeenth century, by means of Pierre Paul Riquet’s Canal du Midi, now classified as a World Heritage Site), have made it possible for dreams to become reality (the birth of aeronautics with Clement Ader at the end of the nineteenth century) and have launched the most beautiful industrial adventure of the late twentieth century, Airbus.But the strongest symbol of the Toulouse spirit is perhaps the opening of the Aéropos-tale lines in the early twentieth century. Because this was both a human, technological and economic challenge, and today the names of Latécoère, Saint-Exupery, Mermoz and Guillaumet have been permanently enshrined in the collective memory. They da-red to open new channels and they were convinced of the value of men. Imbued with this heritage and these values, the Toulouse Business School has today invented a new model for an international Business School, as the world’s certain-ties tremble and the search for new points of reference has begun. By opening new campuses in Barcelona and Casablanca, we are looking for new inspiration and new models in the heart of two major cities, which are both just as rebellious and creative as Toulouse.Our new model? Bringing our operations into the heart of areas with high growth po-tential and into cities known for their lifestyles, their economic efficiency, their long-term commitments to the respect of local conditions, the support of local economic partners, and possessing active teaching techniques that aim at economic develop-ment, social responsibility and sustainable development. More importantly, the goal of offering our students the opportunity of discovering a unique human experience that is both fulfilling and empowering. This model has now been acknowledged: the Toulouse Business School is part of the prestigious circle of business schools that have attained triple accreditation by EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA (less than 1% of Business Schools in the world have attained this level) and its progress is welcomed by the international press (ranked by the Financial Times as being one of the Top 20 European Master’s in Management in 2008). The one hundred or so partner universities throughout the world, the fifty different nationalities present on our campus, our sixty or so visiting professors of international reputation and our Aerospace MBA are also significant indicators of the true internationalization of our School.Our international stature can also be seen through our cooperative projects with the most renowned French institutions. We are thus part of the «University of Toulouse» Higher Education Research Department, where we have notably formed a partnership with the Doctoral School of Management Science as well as being a founding member of ToulouseTech which brings together the 16 «Grandes Écoles» to be found in the Midi – Pyrenees region.
Come and learn more about our new model and you will discover some new ambitions for yourself

Three international accreditations, three campuses
in three different countries, more than 100 partner
universities and a faculty made up of one third
foreign professors, Toulouse Business School is
unquestionably an international, multicultural school.
An International Business SchoolToulouse, Barcelona and Casablanca: three cities for your studiesThe three campuses of the Toulouse Busi-ness School are located in the heart of three cities that are known for their economic dy-namism and the richness of their cultures. Students thus find themselves placed in the heart of what the European and Mediterra-nean communities have best to offer in the fields of technological innovation, economic dynamism and quality of life.
These sites offer students of the Group a ge-nuine opportunity to strengthen their langua-ge skills (Spanish, English and French) and become immersed in a multicultural environ-ment, as many nationalities are represented on each of these sites. Indeed, the Spanish and Moroccan Campuses are able to benefit from their great attractiveness over their zo-nes of economic influence: Latin America for Spain, North-West Africa for Morocco.
These locations, of course, also promote the mobility of our future students as we have developed close relationships with local businesses, professional organiza-tions, employers’ associations and public authorities on each site. This strategy is has been approved by the triple accreditation that we have received and has also been hailed by the international press: The Financial Times has, for example, ranked Toulouse Business School 17th ove-rall in their 2008 standings for the Best Eu-ropean Master’s in Management programs. Toulouse Business School is today part of the select group of the Top 20 European Schools and jumped the highest in the ranking by gai-ning 7 places compared to 2007.

An International Business SchoolThree international accreditationsToulouse Business School has earned three major international accreditations, since 2001 we have had EQUIS accreditation awarded by the EFMD (European Founda-tion for Management Development); since 2002: AMBA accreditation from the Asso-ciation of MBA and, since 2003, AACSB ac-creditation from the Association to Advan-ce Collegiate Schools of Business. Awarded on the basis of very demanding internatio-nal standards, accreditation rewards quality programs, faculty excellence, high levels of research, openness towards international contacts and students guidance.

The European Capital of aeronautics and space, the
second French university city after Paris, Toulouse
is one of the leading cities of southern Europe for
its quality of life. Nearly 4,000 students are present
on the Toulouse Business School campus.

Toulouse is the fourth largest city in Fran-ce and its metropolitan area is home to 1 million inhabitants. 1st French pole for teaching and research after Paris, it brings together 120,000 students and 11,000 re-searchers. It is also a international-level industrial center, thanks to its leading po-sition in aerospace field (Aerospace Valley competitiveness cluster, Airbus, CNES, EADS-Astrium), biotechnology (Cancer-Bio-Health competitiveness cluster, the Cancéropôle, Laboratoires Pierre Fabre) and food processing (Agrimip–Innovation competitiveness cluster).
A city that is full of lifeToulouse is also known for its unique way of life, at the meeting point between the French and Spanish cultures. It is regu-
larly ranked as one of the most popular French cities. It is blessed with a remar-kable architectural heritage made of red bricks and tiles that have earned it the nickname «Ville Rose» (the Ruby City). A City of art and culture, Toulouse has many varied cultural facilities (museums, opera, theaters, concert halls). But Toulouse is also an athletic city. Local Rugby Union, Football, Handball, Volleyball, Rugby League or Swimming clubs participate in elite competitions at the national and European levels. The many sports faci-lities and natural areas that are open to all (including the famous Canal du Midi), the beaches of the Mediterranean or the ski slopes of the Pyrenees (less than two hours away by car) allow the people of Toulouse to participate in active recreatio-nal activities throughout the year.

Barcelona Olympic host city, Barcelona has been growing steadily since the 1992 Olympics and has become during that period a genuine cultural and economic capital for the Mediterranean basin. It today is home to nearly 5 million people (urban area) and represents 20% of Spain’s economic potential. It was there that were born industrial legends such as Puig, Freixenet, Torres, Chupa Chups or Danone and it is there that Renault, Mercedes and Volkswagen have set up their global design and R & D centers. Because the city of Gaudi, Miro and Tapies has many other strengths in the areas of culture, gastronomy and festivals: for the 9th consecutive year, European executives have elected it as the European city with the best quality of life (2006 survey by «Cushman & Wakefield - Healey & Baker, European Cities Monitor). Thanks to its unique location, students can go to the beach by subway and then be in a ski resort in less than two hours by car. As for life in Barcelona, many films regularly praise its merits...Thanks to its new premises that opened in 2008, the Toulouse Business School Campus can today host, in the heart of Barcelona, 500 students from the Bachelor’s and Master’s in Management (TBS) programs.
casaBlancaThe economic capital of Morocco, Casablanca embodies the modernity and dynamism of this emerging country. Home to nearly 60% of Moroccan businesses, including many multinationals, it possesses infrastructures adapted to international business, with an airport that handles 51% of all domestic traffic, a port through which 55% of foreign trade passes (2nd African port) and a Stock Exchange which makes Casablanca the 3rd ranking financial center on the continent and the 3rd in the Arab world. Part of the charm of the city is to be found in its lifestyle of its multicultural traditions (the wealth of the Arabic, Spanish and French cultures) and its religious diversity (peaceful coexistence of the Muslim, Jewish and Christian religions).The Toulouse Business School Campus hosts 200 students in the Bachelor’s, Specialized Master’s, MSc programs and an Executive MBA program designed toaccompany the development of Moroccanbusinesses. The Master’s program in Management (TBS) will soon be opened.
The Campus is part of a cluster dedicated to education which is managed by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Morocco and which includes a French High School, a vocational training center and a Bachelor’s program.
Two campus in Toulouse… plus oneThe Toulouse Business School Group hosts nearly 4,000 students on its two sites.The Main Campus in the heart of the city, hosts the Master’s in Management (TBS), Specialized Master’s and MBA programs, as well as the administrative services.Serving students:• a multimedia library with 15,000 works, 300 periodicals, just as many CD-ROMs and a score of online databases that provide access to thousands of documentary resources;
• an extranet that provides an e-learning platform;
• a front office that is connected directly to the server of the Reuters information service;
• fifteen student associations working in fields as diverse as art, music, recreation, humani-tarian issues and corporate studies.
Entiore, the second campus, hosts the Ba-chelor’s classes and executive education programs. In the heart of Toulouse’s center for the technology and service sectors (La-bège Innopole, Montaudran and La Plaine), students also benefit from services equal to those found on the city center campus, including a multimedia library, computer rooms and full food services.Toulouse Business Life is the third campus...Toulouse Business School’s virtual Campus, to be found on the Second Life platform. Four areas for living and sharing are available there: an area for information and training, an area reserved for alumni to develop contact with new graduates, an area for associations and an business incubator that can host up to 64 companies or virtual student projects.

Researchat the heart of Toulouse Business School
The Toulouse Business School has be-come a reference for research in mana-gement science. A Member of the «Uni-versity of Toulouse» Higher Education Research Center and its associated Doc-toral School in Management Science, Toulouse Business School has a leading «Management Research Center»: teams of teachers and researchers working on international projects and publishing in major scientific journals, an activity that has earned them recognition beyond the borders of France. The School’s Finance Department was ranked by Arizona State University as being among the top three financial departments in France.
Toulouse Business School’s various de-partments are also partners in European projects that address a wide variety of themes such as equality and diversity in the metal industries, the development of training tools to meet the recruitment needs of consulting firms , skills develo-pment in the workplace, the development of lifelong learning through online trai-ning, etc.

Toulouse Business School has for many years made
steady progress in its programs and teaching,
especially through the development of research.
f Toulouse Business SchoolThe «Management Research Center» is organized into eight research groups:• Five thematic groups: Finance, HR
Employment, New management practices, Entrepreneurial Strategy, Marketing-Internet;
• Three sector groups associated with the three regional competitiveness clusters: Aerospace Management, Healthcare Organizations and Systems, Agriculture & Food.
75% of Toulouse Business School faculty have PhD’s and 85% are active in re-search.
Innovative cooperation with Competitiveness ClustersIn 2008, the Toulouse Business School decided to reorganize its Research efforts through the creation of groups based on economic sectors, directly connected to the 3 competitiveness clusters, Aerospa-ce Valley, Cancer-Bio-Health and Agrimip Innovation. The aim is both to participate in the impetus created by these clus-ters and to generate synergies between research, education and the business world. Teaching programs have been de-veloped in partnership with the Clusters, based on know-how that is specifi c to the school.
Doctoral School of Management ScienceThe Toulouse Business School has be-come associated with the Doctoral School of Management Sciences that is part of the University of Social Sciences, Toulou-se 1. The University and the Toulouse Bu-siness School share the governance, the research training through the organiza-tion of seminars and courses and the tu-toring of doctoral students. The grouping together of researchers in turn promotes joint projects and responses to calls for tenders, particularly in Europe. These ac-tivities represent, through their scientifi c cooperation, a center of excellence in this fi eld.
The Toulouse Business School Group FoundationThe Toulouse Business School Group Foun-dation was founded in 2008 under the aegis of the Fondation de France. Its role is to as-sist the school in its development, to sup-port new educational programs, to interve-ne in the funding of research programs and to promote the cultural and social diversity of its students. It aims to rally support for these projects from the alumni network and the School’s corporate partners.The projects revolve around four major operational areas:• Faculty strengthening and internationa-
lization, • Improvement of the cultural and social
diversity of the School’s students,
• Involvement in the development and internationalization of the regional eco-nomy,
• Commitment around the theme «Entrepreneur & Citizen.»
Since its inception, the Toulouse Business School Group Foundation has funded merit scholarships (150,000 Euros distri-buted in 2008-2009), the Consulting Pro-fessions Chair, the Responsible Develo-pment Chair, the Entrepreneurship Chair and the «Audit» Chair.The Toulouse Business School has also set up a Chair in «Aerospace Manage-ment» in collaboration with professionals and an «e-management» Chair with IBM.

The Grande Ecole ProgramThis program has a dual mission: to propose paths
of excellence while at the same time allowing
students to develop their talents in areas that
interest them. In this way they become key players
in management who are both multinational and
multitalented.
Highly diversified pathways to excellenceThe School offers different learning paths, through forty or so options in the 2nd year and twenty or so in the 3rd year. It thus trains key players in management, HR, marketing, finance, public accounting, in consulting and auditing but also in the cultural, humanitarian, and entrepre-neurship sectors...
Highly detailed specializationsA duAL dEgREE TBS-MASTER’S IN RESEARCHStudents in their 3rd year may take the IAE (Institut d’Administration des Entre-prises) Master’s modules and earn a dual TBS-Master’s degree in Research. In ad-dition to opening to door to a career in research, this training helps students ac-quire analytical skills that are in particu-lar demand in consultancy and banking research services.
TRAININg oF SENIoR ExECuTIvES IN FINANCEThe School also offers an Advanced Fi-nance Program, a high-level program that is unique among French Business Scho-ols and aimed at training senior executi-ves in finance. This training prepares its graduates for highly sought after professions in banks
or management companies: merger & acquisition analysts, Structurers and risk analysts, traders. It is also an excellent preparation for the most well known in-ternational professional certifications: Financial Risk Manager and Chartered Fi-nancial Analyst.
Multicultural trainingThe School trains multinational and mul-ticultural managers. They are open to the international world, thanks to a 6 month stay abroad and the great diversity of stu-dents to be found in the School, which today hosts more than 50 nationalities. Volunteer actions, humanitarian or social projects also create pilots of change who will be the vectors of certain ethical and human values.
The International Management OptionTBS proposes a 13-week program taught entirely in English, for both foreign and 2nd year students. Led every week by a different «visiting professor», these cour-ses are designed to prepare students for international management. tHe cPa, the advanced management Program of the toulouse Business schoolAt the heart of the recent economic crises are to be found moral and ethical crises. The objective of the CPA is to train leaders, managers who have solid organizational experience, in the use of the company’s strategic management tools, through an educational approach that promotes original decision-making, awareness of ethics and the values of sharing and commitment.
A part-time program, the CPA offers its participants, in addition to the modules held in Toulouse, international sessions in China, Poland and Spain.
The CPA Alumni network, present throughout France, is one of the most powerful professional networks in the country.
To be able to lead an organization or business
unit, to take part in strategic decisions of a large
company or operate a family business, you must
master the tools of top level management and be
trained in decision-making. The Executive MBAs
from Toulouse Business School have been designed
to meet these new requirements.
