Greetings Brother Knights,

The month of August has disappeared and another season is upon us. Let's enjoy thebeautiful, warm days we have been blessed with.

The KC National Convention was held at St. Louis, Missouri, August 1st through the 3rd. Supreme Knight Carl Anderson announced that the Knights of Columbus have donated over $177,500,000 to charities this past fraternal year. Knights like you and I have donated over 75,000,000 man hours of our time and talents to our organization. Just goes to show what working together can accom-plish!

A big thank you goes out to Brother Leo Grossman for chairing the beautiful arbor project in the Serenity Garden at the Nursing Home. It is located outside of Unit B. If you haven't already seen this area, stop in and see the beauty that has been created for the residents and their visitors. Thank you to all of the Knights who helped make this project possible. Your time is much appreciated!

The cedar lumber has arrived for the crosses at St. Cecilia's Cemetery. Hope-fully we can get this project finished soon.

Brother Knights who have birthdays in September are: 9-1 Curt Joern 9-5 Fr. Michael Hickin 9-8 Tony Prom 9-8 Jamey Weinmann 9-16 Quincy and Spencer Marchand 9-17 Conrad Ziegler 9-20 Bob Weninger 9-23 Eric Kourajian 9-25 Brian T. Keller Please remember to wish your brothers a “Happy Birthday”!!

Due to Labor Day, our next meeting will be on Monday, September 11th. We will be having a garden produce supper at 6:00 P.M. with meeting to follow. Please bring your favorite dish to share! I am hoping for a good turnout.
