Before You Begin Your canning station will be set up and ready when you show up to use it, but you must follow and understand these basic safety precautions before you begin. A Brew Ninja will will go over basic operations and safety, and you will both sign at the bottom of this page for confirmation. Please note that we are not responsible for any injuries acquired as a result of using this can seamer. Any mis-use of this can seamer can result in the renter being liable for repairs and/or replacement. Safety Standards - Your Safety 1. All long hair, loose clothing and flowing beards must be pulled back, tied down, tucked in, and kept away from the main spinning operation of the can seamer. 2. Do not insert any body parts, be they fingers, toes or other behind the splash guard when the can seamer is on. 3. Do not turn the can seamer on until the can is in place and the splash guard has been set in the UP position. 4. Do not lower the splash Guard until the can seamer has been turned off and has stopped spinning. 5. Do not attempt any tooling adjustments while the can seamer is turned on. If there are any necessary adjustments, immediately stop all operation and grab a Brew Ninja for help. Safety Standards - Oktober Can Seamer Safety 1. Read and make sure you understand the operation of the can seamer. Ask any questions about safe operation during your initial consultation with a Brew Ninja. 2. NEVER use the left handle first when seaming your can. 3. NEVER use both handles at the same time when seaming your can. 4. NEVER run either handle more than once 5. NEVER go back and do the first operation (right handle) after the second operation (left handle) has been completed. Safety and Use Precautions for Oktober Can SeamerPlease read and understand these safety rules at the beginning of your BrewRentals Oktober
Can Seamer Rental, talk to your Brew Ninja about them, and pose any questions before signing.
Step 1 - Un-couple the keg from the Beer Gun and CO2
Step 2 - De-pressurize the keg
Step 3 - Open the keg and clean the inside out well. Fill it with hot water, pressurize the keg, and attache the Beer Gun. Run water through the Beer Gun until it comes out clean. Empty the keg.
Step 4 - Wipe down the canning machine with provided sponge. Make sure that you wipe down every part of the Oktober Can Seamer.
Step 5 - Dump the Sanitizer Resevoir and the Clean Water Resevoir and leave them both in the sink, upside down to dry.
Step 6 - Double check the table, Oktober Can Seamer, Beer Gun, all lines and sink to ensure that everything is clean, rinsed and wiped down. Leave system ready for the next user.
