Actix Analyzer Update August 2013 4
2 New collection device or technology support2.1 Accuver support
In LTE, a problem has been resolved that could prevent the attributeLTE_UE_MAC_Throughput_DL from being set.
Attribute Task_Failure_Cause is now also set when a Task times out.2.2 Ascom Symphony (QMD) support
In LTE, the support for Qualcomm LTE messages has been improved incases where messages LTE ML1 PDSCH stat indication and LTE ML1GM Tx report are not all logged but sampled (for instance, the loggingtool records only 1 message per second where there should be several). This change resolves problems affecting several LTE attributes such asLTE_UE_FrameUsage_DL and LTE_UE_PayloadRate_L1_DL.
In HSPA, a problem has been resolved that could prevent the attributeUu_HSDPA_64QAM_Configured from being set in version 6.2 AscomSymphony files.
In HSPA, support for DC-HSDPA has been improved. A problem has been resolved that could cause attribute
Task_Server_URL to contain non-printable characters.
Attribute SQ_SQuad_P863LQ_WideBand now only reports MOS valuesfrom Speech Quality Extended messages. MOS measurements fromSpeech Quality Statistics are now set under a new attribute:
AscomP863LQWideBandSpeechQualityAverage .
A typo has been corrected where AMR super wideband was calledAMR super narrowband in Message Browser.
2.3 Ascom Symphony (TRP) support Added support for XML side-files, which contain measurements collected
on the network side.
2.4 Ascom TEMS support Added support for TEMS Investigation 15.1, TEMS Pocket 13.1 and
TEMS Symphony Suite 7.1.

2.5 Ericsson CT support In LTE, call tracking has been improved so that the same call ID is setfor call segments following an intra-eNB handover. In UMTS, a problem has been resolved with the query GPEH Connection
Breakdown whereby the results displayed in Statistics Explorer werewrong when a filter was applied to a call.
2.6 JDSU support Added support for th emessageFN_WAMS_EMAIL_2_TEST, at which
e-mail related Task attributes are now set.
A problem has been resolved with linear GPS interpolation that couldcause file loading time to increase significantly.
2.7 Meritech (Sigma-ML) support Added support for user events.
2.8 Nemo support A problem has been resolved with the decoding of theFREQSCANmessage, which could cause scanner log files to fail to load in Analyzer. Added new scanner attributes for spectrum scanning:
ScanSweepAvgRSSI and ScanCenterFrequency .
2.9 PCTEL support Added support for SeeHawk version 2.4.
2.10 Qualcomm support New LTE attributes are now set:
LTE_UE_MAC_Throughput_DL
LTE_UE_Blocked_Cells_Count
LTE_UE_Blocked_Cell_PCI
LTE_UE_RSN_Distribution
The following new attributes are set upon LTE SIB-1 read failures:LTE_UE_SIB1_Decode_Fail_Rate
LTE_UE_SIB1_Decode_FailedAttemptCount

LTE_UE_SIB1_Decode_TotalAttemptCount
2.11 Rhode and Schwarz support A new LTE scanner attribute is set for the channel condition number:
LTE_Scan_CondNumber_Rank2
A problem has been resolved where Analyzer did not detect thetechnology capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy SII phone. This problemcaused some attributes to be missing and others to be wrong, such asCS fall back events.
Some decoding errors in Message Browser have been resolved thataffected LTE handset messages.
2.12 Generic In LTE, a problem has been resolved where Analyzer could detect an
LTE dropped connection when an idle mode SIB (such as SIB-6) wasread in connected mode.
In LTE, a problem has been resolved where Analyzer would detect aRRC connection setup failure if a RRC Connection Setup message wasnot received exactly within the time indicated by timer t300. Analyzernow waits for LTE_t300_wait_timer (default 1500 ms) before
detecting a RRC setup failure. If an RRC setup failure is detected, it ispegged at the message at which timer t300 expired.
In GSM, Analyzer now decodes correctly RR Measurement Reportmessages where UMTS neighbour cells are reported, when the reportingquantity is Ec/N0.
A problem has been resolved that could lead to discrepancies betweenAnalyzer and ActixOne, where the technology capabilities detected for adevice could be different in each platform.
3 Application layer improvements Re-organized the stateforms and screen layouts into major technology
groups (GSM, UMTS, EVDO).
Removed duplicate stateforms, and made smaller improvements toremaining stateforms.
Improved the LTE event detection so that Analyzer does not peg a dropif the UE reads an idle mode SIB whilst in connected mode.

4 Platform improvements4.1 Multi-threaded loading of log files
Added support for multi-threaded loading of log files, making use of theavailable physical cores one file per core. This means multiple files canbe loaded at the same time, and that data loads faster.
The number of threads used can be configured in Preferences. One canprioritize between responsive user-interface and file-loadingperformance.
The user can still interact with Analyzer while loading files in Classic. Asfor Repositories and Spotlight, load speed improvements still apply butAnalyzer does not stay responsive.
4.2 Ribbons Added support for Ribbons with the most commonly used commands
easier to find.
4.3 Attribute Explorer
Made the search feature interactive and more easy to use.
Added new heuristic feature to search, suggesting commonly usedattribute names.
