Key Stage 4 (GCSE)
11
Note that the Key Stage 4 results for 2014 and 2015 are not comparable with those in previous years.
Early indications are that Cambridgeshire’s end of Key Stage 4 performance has improved:
A 4ppt rise in the proportion of pupils gaining 5+ GCSE grades A*-C, including English and Maths (to 59.6%)
A 2ppt rise in the proportion of pupils making expected progress in English (to 73.7%), and an
8ppt rise in the proportion making expected progress in Maths (to 72.2%).
However, the proportion of disadvantaged pupils achieving 5+ GCSE grades A*-C, including English and Maths has provisionally only improved by 1ppt (to 32.2%) and therefore the gap has widened.
