• Children have many opportunities for reading in school.

• Reading is assessed regularly by teachers.• Children will be heard read at least once a

week in school (individually).• We aim to change books up to three times

a week (if read and signed at home).• We have a variety of reading scheme

books for children to read and enjoy.
