On Saturday our Elder Mentors joined the group for some project work, worship, and lunch. Our projects this year focused on the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-26). Please be in prayer for these neat kids as they write their faith statements in preparation for proclaiming their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

RRPC to Help Rebuild RichmondCome out Saturday, April 30, 2016, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., rain or shine.  Rebuild Together Richmond (formerly Christmas in April) is a volunteer based program that repairs and rehabilitates homes and non-profit community facilities.  It helps low income, elderly, and disabled people who own their homes but are unable to maintain them.  The program is centered around a “blitz” build, held the last Saturday in April, where volunteers make both major and minor repairs to qualified homes.  This year the Mission and Service Ministry has approved partnership with the Rebuild Together organization to become a “Home Part-ner.”  We need 15-20 RRPC volunteers (all generations welcome) to help one deserving Richmond homeowner in the Jefferson Davis corridor on Saturday April 30.  For more information or to sign up to volunteer, please contact Scott Duff III at 405-4518 or [email protected] or call the church office at 740-7083.

We continue to display art created by members of our congregation on the walls just outside of Saunders Hall. Please make a special effort to stop by!

Thanks so much to Scott Thornhill for the beautiful pictures in the hall-way!

If you would like to provide a display, please contact Mary Jane Ould. Each display will remain around three months. If you have art that is not able to be displayed on the walls, let us know; we can find a perfect spot.

Dear RRPC Family,On behalf of my family and me, I want to thank you for all the prayers, visits, kind words, cards, and most of all, the prayers during the past several months as my family recovers from the loss of my mother, my grandmother, my two uncles, baby Leelyn’s surgeries, my broken foot, and my knee surgery. It’s been a tough year for the Hannah family, and we are blessed to have RRPC as a church family. Thank you all very much, and may God continue to bless us all.Susan Hannah

Dear Church Congregation,I wish to thank our minister, deacons, circles, and every individual who made my stay (with flowers, gifts, and calls) here at Cedarfield a blessing.
