Internship for Public WitnessThis is the ideal opportunity for undergraduates andseminarystudentsseekingacademiccredit fortheirservice.Internsmayservepart-time duringthefall,springorfullacademicyear,but nolessthan10weeks.

The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has a long historyofmaintainingapublicpolicyministryin the nation’s capital, advocating the social witness perspectives and policies of the PresbyterianGeneralAssembly.

Why Service Learning?Thechurchbelievestheformationof servant leaders and advocates is vital to publicpolicyministryandwitness.TheInternshipforPublicWitnessandSummerFellowshipprovidesubstantive,formative workandguidanceforthoseinterestedin thefast-pacedenvironmentofWashington,wherefaithmeetsthepublicsquare.

Summer FellowshipFor10weeks,SummerFellowswillengageintheministryofpublicwitnessthroughanassigned issue or portfolio of issues. The Fellowship is full-timeandFellowsareprovidedwithamodestliving-expense stipend.
