FKT Faßbender GmbH is a successful internationally
active company in the area of pipeline construction.
We supply mainly to power plants, waste incine-
ration plants, as well as companies from the ship
building, chemical construction and general facility
construction sectors.
Since our founding as a pure assembly enterprise in
1995, we have consistently grown to the medium-
sized company we are today. Adjustments made to
meet ever-changing market requirements have ex-
panded our service spectrum at the same time. Asi-
de from prefabrication and assembly of all common
pipeline components, the scope currently includes
precise project design in 2D and 3D, as well as the
manufacture of top-class GRP pipe systems at our
plants in Germany and Poland.
Our particular expertise lies in the production and
assembly of GRP pipeline systems. Since GRP as a
material is very resistant and long-lasting thanks to
its composition from synthetic resins and fibreglass,
it makes the manufacture of components which
fulfil the highest standards possible. Additionally,
in an aggressive environment, GRP stands out with
its excellent corrosion behaviour which considerably
increases the spectrum of application possibilities.
The quality assurance of our products and services
are guaranteed with regular tests and certifications.
Any approvals required for the wide scope of delive-
ry and services are continuously controlled and re-
newed.
As the ideal partner for individual solutions with top
quality products in the area of pipeline construction,
FKT Faßbender GmbH is distinguished not the least
by the satisfaction of our clients. Successful coope-
ration is reflected in our reference list with renow-
ned plant constructors and operators like for examp-
le Vattenfall, E.ON, Siemens, Steag, Hamon, or our
long-time cooperation with a variety of shipyards.

3 Our services
1 Pipes manufactured using the cross winding method
2 Digitally monitored process control
3 Hard chrome plated precision mandrels for pipe production
4 Parallel winding equipment to produce two pipes simultaneously
1 Model-based planning
2 With our engineers, designers and implemen-ters and state-of-the art hardware and software, major contracts can also be implemented reliably
Production of GRP Pipe Systems
In-house production at our locations in Germany and Poland
guarantees the highest quality. Our in-house pipe systems are
manufactured using GRP material (vinyl ester resin, polyester
resin) on state-of-the-art numerically controlled winding machi-
nes. Top quality raw materials are used exclusively in the process.
• Compliance with all established standards and licences
• Nominal diameters DN 25–4,000 mm
• Vinyl ester resins and polyester resins
• With 0.5 mm and 2.5 mm chemical corrosion barrier
• With thermoplastic lining made of PVC, PP and PE
• Pipe joining methods adhesive bonding and lamination
• For pressure up to 16 bar
Engineering
The starting point of every project is a precise planning design
in 2D and 3D. With our own team of experienced project lea-
ders, designers and project coordinators, we are in a position
to execute and monitor complete design contracts from our
German office.

1 Prefabricated GRP spray pipe systems
2 Prefabrication of high-grad steel pipelines
3 Weld seams produced on digitally controlled auto-matic welding machines up to DN 500
4 GRP Y piece 2,000/1,400 with PVC lining
1 | 3 In-house steel construction for the manufacture of primary and secondary supports
2 Primary and secondary galvanised support construc tion in accordance with in-house developed designs for our pipe systems
Prefabrication
Precise design in 2D and 3D and optimal workshop conditions
make it possible for us to deliver all pipeline systems in the
highest possible degree of prefabrication to the construction
site. Aside from a shorter construction time, appropriately
lower costs are the result of such an approach.
Production of primary and secondary pipeline supports
At our German plant in Draschwitz, we produce primary and
secondary holder systems for pipelines featuring from 25 to
4,000 mm in nominal width under the direction of qualified
special welding engineers. The specifically developed holders
for our GRP pipe systems guarantee maximum quality. If nee-
ded, we can sandblast or coat pipeline supports at our plant
as well.

Assembly of pipeline systems from GRP, steel and thermoplastics
The assembly staff of FKT Faßbender GmbH possesses long-
time international experience in the transfer of pipeline sys-
tems. Regularly conducted examinations in welding, gluing
and laminating skills by the TÜV provide our associates with
the proper qualifications and certify their capabilities. In this
manner, we can ensure long-term quality standards within our
wide scope of services.
• GRP pipe systems, 25–4,000 mm in vinyl ester resin,
polyester resin, epoxy resin, with and without thermo-
plastic lining as bonded or laminated systems
• Thermoplastic single or double wall pipes in PP, PE,
PVDF, PVC
• Steel pipe systems in P235GH, 16Mo3, 10CrMo9-10,
13CrMo44 and 1.4571 etc, all valid procedure tests
• PFA and Alloy 59 duct work linings
