Open Outlook Express

In Outlook Express, open the Tools menu, select Accounts

Accounts

Click Add and select Mail

Your Name

Type in your name

Email Address

Type in your email address

Page 6: Outlook express imap settings

Server Names

Incoming mail: Type imap.yourdomain.com.au. For example if your website is www.fish.com.au then type imap.fish.com.au

Outgoing mail: Type smtp.yourdomain.com.au. For example if your website is www.fish.com.au then type smtp.fish.com.au

Select IMAP for the server

Mail Login

Account name: This is your full email address.

Password: Type the password that you have been given for this email address.

Congratulations

Click Finish

Account Properties

Click Properties

Click the Servers tab

Server Properties

Check the box for My server requires authentication then click OK and then Close.

Download Folder List

On the prompt that appears click Yes to download the IMAP folder list

Show IMAP Folders

On the following screen click the OK button

Setup Complete

You will now have a new branch on the Folders list in Outlook Express. Incoming messages will show in the inbox under this new section
