No one should want to live a life of uncertainty that is based on myth, falsehoods, half-

truths, or legend with no foundation in fact. Luke didn't, and neither did he want that

for his friends. Luke set out to collect evidence about the life, ministry and meaning of

Jesus Christ so sincere seekers of all ages could build their lives on unquestionable

truth. Come join us as we study the Gospel of Luke together.

The Primetimers invite you to join us for lunch and a presentation of Architecture of the

San Fernando Valley. Ranches & Farms of the San Fernando presented by Shel Weisbach

is a serious and yet light survey on Valley ranches and farms from the arrival of Spanish

colonists to current days — adobes, cattle ranches, thoroughbred ranches, citrus groves,

chicken ranches, celebrity and exotic ranches, contemporary ranch homes and western

take-offs.

Mr. Weisbach is a retired high school and community college history teacher with a great

sense of humor that will make the architecture come alive.

FOOD NEEDED

Our church collects food each month for a UMC food pantry.

If you can bring only one can or box a week that would really help others.

Canned fruits, vegetables, and soups are needed. Pastas, cereals,

canned tuna or meat are so appreciated. Place it in the wooden cart in the office or

in the narthex the first Sunday of the month.
