This was before sin distorted every facet of life. Our world, as beautiful as it is, bears the mark of this distortion. Our life-work, the development of our cultures, the establishment of our societies and what we value are distorted. In the light of the original and intended focus of directing our existence to the worship of God and His glory, we can see how far we can move away from God. How do we overcome these distortions? This is indeed a challenge, and one with which we are called to wrestle with daily. It will be through using Jesus as our guide, as well as using Spirit-inspired discernment, wisdom and a great deal of courage, that we can identify those areas where this distortion has had an impact. We can thoughtfully and prayerfully challenge our culture to be transformed in the light of the gospel and for Christ’s sake by identifying the idols that dominate our contemporary culture. The [people] exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator. Romans 1:25 Daily we work with our students to think through how things have been changed and how we might address this impact. We try to reveal to students the goodness of God’s way of doing thing. We ask them why we oſten love the things that we know are not good for us. Students are also asked to question what they are being told to believe by their culture and who is telling them to believe and to critique the source of their knowledge. We seek to help our students understand that God does not want them to give their lives to things that do not maer. As John Piper wrote, do not give time to living a wasted life or one that is devoid of real hope. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. 1 Chronicles 16:11 Pray for safety and enjoyment for all of our Infants students as they aend their swimming and gymnastics lessons. Challenging distortions

When God created the world, all of creation’s focus was on Him. This was before sin distorted every facet of life. Our world, as beautiful as it is, bears the mark of this distortion.
