Do you agree or disagree and why? DISCUSSING THE MESSAGE: Read Matt 9: 27-31 and Mark 8:22-26 and John 9:1-7 How would you summarise the key ideas these passages teach? On each occasion Jesus approaches the same symptoms differently – why do you think that may be? What other healings of Jesus can you think of and in what ways are they different? What do we learn from this? Read Gal 1:8; Heb 13:8 What do these passages teach us about Jesus and the Gospel? What does it mean to you to “Connect people into the Kingdom of God?” How do you think this mission could be achieved? Read Acts 1:8 How would you summarise the key ideas this Scripture teaches? How would you put this verse into context for the church here today? Our Vision is to: Engage – Connect – Restore – Equip What does it mean to you to “Engage intentionally” with the world around us? Read Acts 17:22-31 What are the key concepts we can learn from Paul’s approach here? In what ways is this challenging for us connecting with our world today? How does this passage personally challenge you? How could we “Engage” (i) Personally (ii) as a LIFEgroup (iii) as a Church? This study is for week beginning: Mon12 th Oct 2015
