Talking StoryDr Russell Jeung, a professor of Asian American studies has been named by Time Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential people of 2021. He was recognized by Time for his work in the Asian American community and particular for being one of the co-founders of the coalition, STOP AAPI Hate, which has logged more than 9,000 anti-Asian acts of hate, harassment, discrimination, and assault across the country. 2022 Flower CalendarSponsoring the chancel floral arrangement for worship is a way to celebrate a special occasion or honor loved ones. Communion KitsLOPC Deacons can deliver a communion kit to you so that you can participate with the Livestream service on the first Sunday of each month. Helping HandsAre you or someone you know in need of a meal? If you are recovering from illness, surgery, or in the midst of medical treatments, the Helping Hands team of the Deacons has a variety of ready-to-heat, nutritious meals that can either be picked up or delivered when needed. Special diets can be accommodated such as gluten-free and vegetarian. Call the Deacon line at 925-283-8722, ext. 274, leave a message, and a Deacon will contact you.
