Talking StoryDr Russell Jeung, a professor of Asian American studies has been named by Time Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential people of 2021. He was recognized by Time for his work in the Asian American community and particular for being one of the co-founders of the coalition, STOP AAPI Hate, which has logged more than 9,000 anti-Asian acts of hate, harassment, discrimination, and assault across the country. Helping HandsAre you or someone you know in need of a meal? If you are recovering from illness, surgery, or in the midst of medical treatments, the Helping Hands team of the Deacons has a variety of ready-to-heat, nutritious meals that can either be picked up or delivered when needed.
