How Do I? 1 How Do I? Use Magic GarageBand When you first open GarageBand, you can choose to make a Music Project, a Podcast Episode, or a Magic GarageBand project. The Magic GarageBand project will give you a simplified way to make a song by auditioning different instruments. 2 Choose a genre of music and then click Audition. You will be shown a variety of instruments that make the song. You can click on them to change them, and you can even add your own instrument by clicking in the center of the stage. Now you can edit your song by recording or adding new tracks, deleting parts of tracks, adjusting the volume of tracks, etc. This will be explained more in the “Make Music with GarageBand” document. 3 Mute Track Then click Create Project. Solo Track Lock Track Adjust Track Track Mixer If you click on Track in the Menu Bar, you will find the option to delete a track if you decide you don’t like it. Once you are ready to publish your song, click on Share in the Menu Bar and decide whether you want to send the song to iTunes or burn it to a CD. If you choose to burn it to a CD you will need to insert a blank CD. 5

How Do I?Use Magic GarageBand
