� All the three organizations were independent and now theyare interdependent

� There are challenges in terms of policy changes at nationallevel (Govt) and at international level (UN, World Bank, ADB)

� Time constraint is a major factor affecting the functions of the boards

� There is also a lack of scientific planning, implementationand desired results

� TORs for the board members are not fully developed

� There is still some confusion between the role of governance and management

� Boards dominate management even in the day to day issues

� Boards spent more time on issues rather than on strategicobjectives

� Donor inclination towards Government support is achallenge getting funding for NGOs
