WHAT IS ALPHASAN

• ALPHASAN IS ACTIVE CHLORINE DIOXIDE, a yellow-green gas in aqueous solution - mixed, active and ready to use! The product shelfl ife when stored as directed is measured in months not hours!

• Chlorine Dioxide is an internationally recognised broad spectrum biocide that eff ectively and rapidly destroys all types of micro-organisms.

• Historically Chlorine Dioxide has been limited in usefulness because of the diffi culties associated with onsite activation and generation including storage as it required the mixing of extremely hazardous and dangerous chemicals.

• Chlorine Dioxide IS NOT chlorine - the chemistry is diff erent - unlike the more common chlorine, Chlorine Dioxide at appropriate concentrations, is non-mutagenic, non-carcinogenic, and relatively non-irritating. When added to water it remains a true gas retaining its killing power.

• It does not react with organics to form chlorinated hydrocarbons which are carcinogenic.

HOW ALPHASAN WORKS
