About Kish IslandKish Island with an area of 90 square Kilometers is one of the most beautiful coral islands located 18

kilometers of the southern coasts of Iran in the Persian Gulf. Thanks to good geographical situation, the uniqueenvironment and the beautiful shores and vegetation, Kish Island is visited by hundred thousands people ayear. It has more than 40 hotels, motels and big guesthouses with about 9500 beds. Kish International Airportwhich is receiving up to 108 ights a day, serving thousands passengers in a single day.The airport is the hub of Kish Air, with a dozen of regular ights to almost all centers of provinces of Iran, inaddition to occasional charter and daily ights to Dubai and Sharjeh in UAE.In addition to air transport, marine transport to Kish has increased by establishment of shipping lines andimprovement of its port. Also, by implementation of the rst phase of development plan for Kish port, itscapacity has increased from 2000 tons to 10,000 tons.

About the ExhibitionAfter the successful organizing of the 5th Iran-Kish International Maritime Exhibition, Kish Investment and

Development Company fully supported by Kish Free Zone Organization intends to hold the 6th edition of thementioned exhibition from 29 - 1 nov. 2013.At the fth edition of the above event 109 companies including 32 foreign enterprises from the countriessuch as China, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK, UAE, Australia, South Africa, Japan, Denmark, Sweden, France,Belgium, Netherlands, south Korea, and Norway were exhibiting a wide range of maritime industries products& equipments.This exhibition which was held in an area of 14,000 sqm indoor and outdoor space and more than 50,000sqmof watercrafts displaying area received a unique and warm welcome from the traders and specialists.Islamic Republic of Iran and the region are heavily dependent on maritime industry to meet the increasingdemand of sea transport. We do hope that the Iran Kish International maritime & Sailing Exhibition would bea suitable venue for participants and visitors to meet their potential counterparts and discuss of their interestsand explore business opportunities.

Ofcial catalogue:The ofcial catalogue of the exhibition will be exclusively published by the Organizer of the exhibition.

The catalogue entry information which shall not exceed 300 characters will be provided by the exhibitors.

Shell scheme PackageEach 12 sqm of shell scheme booth includes partition walls, oor carpet, one 100w light per each 3 sqm,one 5 amp/220v single phase socket, one waste paper basket, two chairs, one table and one fascia with thecompany name.

Application Acknowledging the terms and conditions of the application form will be completed, ofcially signed andstamped and be mailed to the Organizers address in due course. The Organizer reserves the right for acceptance or rejection of the application form. Written conrmation will be given to the space reservation and will apply only to the rm shown in theapplication form. The contract between the Organizer and the Exhibitor becomes effective with the acceptanceof the application.

Terms of payment100% of the total charges will be paid before 29 Sep. 2013.A copy of the order will be sent to the Organizers address. Allocation of SpaceExhibitors will be notied of their space allocation following the closing date for application.No part of space allotted to any exhibitor may be transferred, assigned, sublet or shared with any other

exhibitor or with any other person or corporation without the prior agreement of the Organizer.6. ExhibitsImport of any kind of goods to Kish Free Zone is permitted with the exception of the goods which are prohibitedin accordance to Islamic laws of the country in which the zones names are stipulated or are unauthorized inaccordance with special regulations of the zone.

Note: Import of goods originally produced in Israel is prohibited. Exhibits are not permitted to be removed from the stand during exhibition period. Presenting & distribution of any brochures & advertising pakages with fake names like gulf & ... instead ofpersian gulf is prohibited. Exhibitors may carry out demonstration on tools and machinery after obtaining the approved of the Organizer.All necessary precautions should be taken when such demonstrations are conducted. All responsibilities will

be taken by Exhibitors if any damage is done to the fairground.

Insurance coverage

The Organizer provides insurance for covering risks that may occur to the exhibition areas. This does notinclude the exhibits nor the belongings of the Exhibitors, thus Exhibitors are expected to insure their owngoods and personnel against all risks as the third parties against damages caused by their own personnel orcontractors. The Organizer will bear no responsibility for any damage or loss of goods or harm done to anyperson by virtue of being or exhibiting at the exhibition. Organizer undertakes no responsibility for loss, theftor pilferage of exhibits during the exhibition period.The Organizer will not be held responsible for the safety of any exhibits or property of any exhibitor, theirstaff, contractors or agents or any other person, for loss of or damage to or destruction of the same causedby theft, burglary, re, storm, tempest, lightning, national emergency, war, civil commotion, labor strikes,lock-outs or by reason of all and any accident, force majeure not within the control of the Organizer whetherejusdem generis or by occasion of such and similar happenings the holding of the exhibition is impossible orinadvisable or is postponed or closed prematurely.As the Organizer can not and will not accept any responsibility for any or all loss suffered by any Exhibitor

caused by the above mentioned, Exhibitors are advised to cover themselves by their own insurancepolicies.

Withdrawal by ExhibitorIn the event of an exhibitors withdrawal from the exhibition, all payments made by the Exhibitor shall berefunded. In case the Exhibitor cancels the reservation within one month before holding the exhibition, thepayment may not be refunded.

Cancellation & PostponementIn the event of cancellation of the exhibition or any part thereof for any reason whatsoever, the Organizershall not be under liability whatsoever for any expenditure, loss or liability incurred by the Exhibitor and shallbe entitled to retain all sums paid by the Eexhibitor, or such part there of as the Organizer in his absolutediscretion considers necessary to cover the expenses incurred with the exhibition.

In the event of postponement of the exhibition for any reason whatsoever, the Organizer shall not be under anyliability whatsoever in respect of any expenditure, loss or liability incurred by the Eexhibitor, and shall be entitledto retain all sums paid by exhibitor, or such part thereof as the Organizer in his absolute discretion considers.

VariationWhile every effort will be made by the Organizer to meet the requirements of the Exhibitor, the Organizerreserves the right to make any alteration that may be considered necessary to the nature method ofconstruction, position or size of exhibition pavilions, or other variations considered necessary in connectionwith the exhibition.

Ofcial CatalogueAn ofcial catalogue will be issued. The Organizer does not accept any responsibility for any omissions, orerrors which may occur in the compilation of the catalogue.

Publicity Exhibitor purposes to distribute books, lms, etc., in the pavilion during the exhibition should receive priorapproval of the Organizer. Exhibitor purposes to use audio and /or audio visual equipment to play sound or audio visual recordings and/or relay television transmissions, whether by means of TV, video, record, CDs, Cassettes or other electronicmeans, should receive prior approval of the Organizer. Exhibitors have no right to put up slogans, placards or writing inside the exhibition.

Photographing The Organizer has the right to take photographs or lms of any part of the exhibition for the use in thepublications of the exhibition.

Photography is permitted with the prior permission of the Organizer.

Conduct of Exhibitors

Every Exhibitor shall insure that his stand is open to view and staffed by competent representatives duringexhibition hours. In the event of any exhibitor failing to open to his stand or uncover his exhibits the Organizermay do so or may arrange for the stand and exhibits to be removed and the exhibitor shall be liable for anycharges that may be incurred.In this Case, the Organizer will not be liable for any losses.

Safety and Security Exhibitors are responsible for the safeguarding of their exhibits during the visiting hours of the fair. TheOrganizer takes the same responsibility after the closing doors during the period of the exhibition. The Exhibitor is required to carry out necessary measures for safe-keeping of his precious exhibits. Exhibitors are required to remove all the inammable materials such as empty cases, packing materialsetc., from their pavilions and stands. Naked lights or any ame-producing articles are prohibited from storage in the halls. Neither oil nor other

types of fuel may be stored on the site. Exhibitors requiring oil or other types of fuel for demonstrationpurposes are asked to consult the Organizer. The Organizer is empowered to take any necessary security measures.

Damage to BuildingsThe Exhibitor shall not cause or permit any damage to the exhibition buildings or any part thereof or to anyof the xtures and ttings therein nor property of the Exhibitor and shall not alter or interfere with structure ofthe exhibition buildings. Any exhibitor in breach of the regulation shall indemnity the Organizer in respect ofany claim for such damage.

Cleaning servicesThe Organizer will arrange for the cleaning to outdoor and indoor areas. The Exhibitor is responsible for thedaily cleaning of the stand before the opening hour.

Technical Regulation of the exhibition Those Exhibitors who construct their stands should submit a copy of their proposed design at least 30days before opening date of the exhibition in order to get the approval of the Organizer, in case an exhibitordoes not get the approval, the Organizer will stop the construction of his stand and the exhibitor is solelyresponsible for any damages. The Organizer has the right to make any changes in proposed design if necessary. Failing this, the Organizerhas the right to dismantle the construction and charge the exhibitor accordingly. All stands construction and decoration must be completed 24 hours before the opening of the fair. Any waste materials resulting from the construction of stands should be disposed of correctly 2 days beforeopening of the fair. The Organizer has the right to remove any such items and to charge the exhibitor.

Vacating Exhibition Spaces Exhibitors should vacate pavilions and stands allotted to them whether indoor or outdoor, and removeexhibits, decoration materials and any other installation and return the stands to the former state and handthem over to the Organizer no later than 3 days after the termination of the fair. In case that an exhibitor fails to vacate his pavilion after 3 days allowed, the Organizer has the right to vacatethe stand and is not responsible for damages caused to the remaining exhibits in the pavilions and stands.

DismantlingExhibitors are requested to dismantle the stands and pavilions and installations (indoor and outdoor) 1 dayafter the termination of the fair at the latest. Otherwise the Organizer will dismantle the stands and pavilionsand installations at the Exhibitors expense and they will have no right to demand compensation.

Claims and Infringement of the Rules and Regulations ClaimsClaims by Exhibitors against the Organizer arising from their stand rental and conditions connected there with

will only be accepted up to 30 working days after termination of the exhibition. All complaints must be broughtto the notice of the Organizer for preliminary consideration before they are taken to other legal bodies. If the

Organizer does not consider the complaints within two months after receiving them, Exhibitors have the rightto submit their claims to the legal court .Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be decided by the lawof the Islamic Republic of Iran. Infringement of the regulationsIf an Exhibitor does not observe the rules and regulations, the Organizer has the right to stop his working inthe stand at any time, and the exhibitor has no right to demand compensation.

Move in and Move out of Stand Materials and Exhibits Exhibitors shall move-in to the Exhibition venue according to the arrangements and within the limitsspecied by the Organizers. The arrangement and payment for transporting goods to and from the Exhibition venue are entirely theresponsibility of the Exhibitor. All exhibits stand materials and the like shall be removed immediately after the closing of the Exhibition

according to arrangements and within the time limits specied by the Organizer. Any exhibits or standmaterials left behind at the Exhibition venue shall be deemed forsaken and shall be disposed of by theOrganizer at the expense of the Exhibitor concerned. All proceeds (if any) of such disposal shall be retainedby the Organizer. The Organizer reserves the right to appoint one or more exclusive contractor(s) to handle the movementsof all goods and exhibits in and out of the Exhibition venue.

Electricity Only electricity can be used as a source of light or power in the exhibition venue. All electrical works shall be carried out at the Exhibitors expense by the ofcial contractor appointed by theOrganizer. Design, plans or proposals for electrical installation must be submitted to reach the Organizersfor approval, not later than one month before the Exhibition. The Organizer may require amendments orvariation to be made to the design, plan or proposals before approving the same, or may withhold approval

at their own discretion. Applications for the supply of electricity must be submitted to the ofcial contractor of the Organizer. Electricity shall be supplied only through the exhibition centers ofcial contractor.

VisaNo entry visa is required to Kish Island. Foreign nationals who enter the Kish Island from abroad do not needto get a pervious visa. Those who intend to enter the mainland of the I.R of Iran before or after entering theKish Island should apply for an entry visa in due time.
