“Only those who actually play on the field can improve” - Götz Thümecke As you’ll read below, we’ve moved to our new offices, and it’s been a revelation. No idea why we didn’t do it before, but the reality of course is that it’s all about prioritising and doing what you can with the tools at hand; basic DNA and the simple reality of growing a business. It’s exhilarating and it’s exhausting, but we are back in the saddles, working alongside wonderful people who love the business, and more importantly, have bought into us. THIS is what it’s all about. THIS is what we love! Charlie’s personal credo is that if you want to give yourself a chance of success, you must rely on your ability and imagination, seek out opportunity and hope for a little bit of luck on the side. Don’t ask ‘why’. Ask ‘why not’? Hopefully this newsletter embodies that spirit. SNAPSHOT In short, we are ecstatic. We have proved Eventerprise works - from concept, to demand. Since going commer- cial, people have continued to subscribe and connect. This is what we set out to do from the very start, and what we will mirror globally in the near future. PEOPLE & PLACES In order to achieve global saturation, we set up a parent company and headquarters in Switzerland in early 2015. With our digital presence growing, we realised we needed a physical one in South Africa too. And so it was that on 1 June we graduated from a remote start-up to one with premises in Woodstock, Cape Town – what a great spot! The move may have seen us throw off the shackles of corporate attire, but we’ll never forget our roots; we still visit those favourite coffee shops in which Eventerprise was conceived. But, we’re loving the dynamism that comes from gathering our growing team in one place, daily. Last week we were 16 strong in the office and witnessed incredible energy and commitment from everyone. May saw Götz (Founder) and Birgit (Chief Customer Officer) invited to the Zuora Subscribed conference in San Francisco. Pleasingly, Eventerprise was met with genuine interest from both the Valley and the Bay. Watch this space! Götz also had the honour of being profiled by The Legacy Project, ‘the largest ongoing study of personal achievement and success.’ This just shows the traction that Eventerprise is gaining in our test market. http://thelegacyproject.co.za/gotz-thumecke-inter- view-co-founder-ceo-of-eventerprise/ AWARDS Whilst we could go on talking about how great our people and product are, it’s how they’re received externally that counts. PRODUCT – VERSION 2.0 This Friday (7 August) is set to be a memorable day in the Eventerprise story, with the release of Version 2.0. Boasting exciting new features (enhanced profiles, event emergency button, request for quote/submit proposal), Version 2.0 of the website aims to deliver a more intuitive user experience, by educating the user on what Eventerprise has to offer, as simply as possible. This milestone has only been possible thanks to the incredible devotion of Anthony and his team. What they have achieved in the time, with the resources at their disposal, is simply outstanding

SALES Figures wise, we now have over 6,000 listed subscribers generating their own presence and traffic to the site – this is just in our test market, and without the launch ofour targeted buyer activation campaign. Like we said – it’s proof of concept and demand. And our hosts and suppliers are loving it.

PARTNERSHIPS Beyond building our supplier base, we also recognise the importance of building alliances and partnerships across industries, because we’re not just an events company (and we are definitely not a directory).

Eventerprise is entrepreneurial and straddles events, tech, social sharing, and the subscription model – so our partners need to reflect this. In addition, it is essential that they be aligned to our global vision and we think we have found just that zuora.com, lithium.com and domo.com. FINANCE In parallel to developing Eventerprise the brand, we have been busy telling our tale and building our global network of individuals such as yourselves. We have an extremely busy calendar, with tours lined up to Europe, the UAE and further afield to the States in October.
