Ofc. was stationary in the area of W Main St near N High St. when Ofc. observed a subject on a bike travel north bound from a north/south allacross W Main St in front of a pickup truck. The pick up truck had to brake hard to avoid hitting the subject that was wearing a front and rear light. Of

went after the subject, a male wearing dark clothes, who now went west bound in the alley towards N High St. Ofc. activated the overhead lights a

attempted to stop the subject. The subject looked back and continued to ride away. Ofc. pursued the subject north bound on N High St and heard him

asking "what did i do" Ofc. activated the siren and the subject continued through an east/west alley towards Western then towards W Water St. T

subject continued through church property where Ofc. lost sight of him. He dropped a red light that he was wearing and Ofc. recovered it in a bus

Others units were in the area and found the bicycle in a side yard at 108 Vine St.

Ofc. was contacted by resident Kim Randle. Ofc. asked who went in the house and she advised David. Ofc. then contacted and identified the suspe

as David Goldsberry. Mr. Goldsberry stated that he knew he had a warrant and wanted to see his child. The felony warrant was in hand and O

transported him to the RCJ. Once there he was provided with a copy of warrant 12CR01 for a parole violation. He was also charged with Obstructi

Official Business. He was released to the jail staff without incident.

next to the street near the Armory in Yoctangee Park. He stated that there was no money in the wallet when he located it.

Officer checked the wallet and found an Ohio Direction Card belonging to Robert Finch. Officer also found an expired Ohio Drivers License belongi

to James Cutright. Officer contacted Cutright and found that the wallet did not belong to him. He stated that he did not know how his Driver''s Licen

would have been in the wallet.

Officer attempted and was not able to contact Finch. Officer placed the wallet in found property and will attempt to contact Finch regarding

wallet.

Ofc contacted Wendell Scott who stated a subject named Travis, from Kentucky, who dates his mother came to his apartment today to get his siste

elongings today. Wendall stated Travis became irritated and swung a baseball bat at him, jumped in his green Ford Truck and left the area. Wend

stated he did not know Travis''s last name, but would attempt to find out and contact this Ofc if that information was available. Wendall stated he

not get hit by the bat, but definitely felt threatened. Witness statement was provided.

Ofc contacted Glenn Scott (father) who stated he would like Travis contacted and questioned about the incident. Glenn was unable to give any oth

identity to the subject named Travis. More as it becomes available.

Officer was dispatched to K-mart, 1470 N Bridge St in reference to a theft. Upon arrival Officer made contact with Loss Prevention Stev

Thompson and the accused Tyler Jones and his mother Telisa Schoonover. Steven said he observed Tyler select a wallet and then the X-Box 360 gam

Grandtheft Auto 5. Tyler ditched the wallet as he worked on removing the game from the plastic anti-theft case. Tyler broken the case open a

removed the game from the inside. He then placed the game down the front of his pants. Tyler then went to another aisle and removed the discs to

game from the case and placed the game discs up the sleeves of his jacket. Tyler then walked passed all points of sale and out the grocery side doo

Tyler was stopped and his mother contacted. Officer photographed the open game and left it in the custody of K-mart for safe keeping. Stev

provided a written statement and a copy of the store security video.

Officer read Tyler his Miranda Rights. Tyler said he stole the game because no one would buy it for him. Officer advised Tyler he is being charg

with theft and the court will contact him along with his mother and father when to be in Juvenile Court. Officer also advised Tyler he is now barred fr

all properties of K-mart and if he returned then he could be arrested or cited for Criminal Trespass. Tyler said he understood.

Ofc dispatched to 1026 Akron St on an animal complaint.

Ofc contacted John Parks who stated a brown pit bull with a white head bit him on his left leg. Ofc noted blood and at least two long abrasions

Mr. Parks left calf, which this Ofc photographed. Mr. Parks stated the dog belonged to the resident at 168 Renick Av. Ofc provided a witne

statement form. Mr. Parks stated he was going to go to the hospital as soon as his wife/girlfriend arrived. Ofc also obtained a medical release form.

Ofc contacted the resident, now known as Haley Schlaegel at 168 Renick. Haley stated the dog did belong to her, and she had left him inside her fen

when she left earlier. Haley was informed of the incident and provided a Ross County Health District form informing her the dog was to be quarantin

for no less than 10 days. Haley stated she just got the dog a week ago from a friend, and was unaware if the dog had its vaccinations. Haley also sta

she had no license for the dog at this time, and was waiting until she had her pay check to do so. Haley was issued MM Summons 7438, charging dog

large and advised of her court date on 10/4/13 at 9am. Haley was issued all copies of paperwork. Nothing further.

Ofc. was dispatched to 314.5 E.Fourth St. ref. a Burglary. Ofc. spoke to Angela Rucker who stated she had come home from work and found her do

kicked in. Ms.Rucker stated she had left at approx. 6:30AM this morning. Ms.Rucker stated the only thing she found missing was $125.00 in cash t

was in her dresser and her 42" Sanyo LCD T.V.($430). Ms.Rucker advised she does not have renters insurance. Ms.Rucker stated no one has been

her residence but her friend Misha Nolen and Shawn Carey.

Ofc. spoke to Mike Lancaster who lives at 314 E.Fourth St. Mike stated he was home until approx. 8:20AM this morning and did not hear anything.

Ofc. took photos of a footprint that was on the door and of the dresser and where the T.V. had been. Ofc. has no further leads in this incident.

Ofc responded to Kmart (1470 N Bridge St) in reference to (2) juvenile shop lifters in custody.

Upon arrival Ofc contacted K-mart LPO Steven Thompson who stated he observed (2) w/m's (identified as Matthew Smith and Matthew Montgomer

select several Yu-gi-oh brand cards from the merchandise shelves and conceal those items on each of their persons. Thompson stated the subjects th

proceeded to the checkout area where Montgomery purchased (1) package of cards. Thompson stated the subjects then exited the store passing all oth

points of sale with the remaining cards still concealed on both of their persons. Thompson stated he contacted the subjects in the K-mart parking lot a

identified himself as K-mart LP. Thompson stated the subjects were then escorted back to the LP office where the concealed items were retrieved.

Ofc contacted Smith and Montgomery and informed them of their Miranda Rights which they both understood and waived. Both subjects then provid

the same account as Thompson by admitting to the theft. Smith and Montgomery further stated they were both involved in the theft as they b

removed the cards from the packages and concealed the cards on each of their persons. Neither subject could provide a reason why they attempted

theft.

Both subjects were then placed under arrest and transported to the LEC where their parents were contacted and informed of the incident. Montgome

was transferred to the custody of his mother, Lisa Robinson. Smith was transferred to the custody of his mother, Nicole Trusty. Both parents w

informed they will be contacted via mail by the Ross County Juvenile Court of their child's possible mandatory court appearance.

All items were photographed and returned to Thompson for safekeeping. Thompson provided Ofc with a written statement and a sales receipt. A co

of the in-store surveillance video will be available and forwarded to the RCJP asap.

Ofc will forward this incident to the Ross County Juvenile Prosecutor and recommend the following:

Ofc. was dispatched to 813 Washington Av in reference to a theft. Ofc. arrived and contacted Angel Colter. Ms. Colter advised that Greg Robins

had been invited to her residence and she and Mr. Robinson along with Andrew Dugan, had been drinking. She stated that Mr. Robinson became up

and took her gray Virgin Mobile cell phone (valued at $50.00) from her hand and left west bound on Washington Av. Ms. Colter initially thought M

Robinson took her check book, he had not. She called the phone from Mr. Dugan''s phone and Mr. Robinson answered stating that he was leaving t

phone on a dumpster. She stated that she wanted to pursue charges and Ofc. gave Ms. Colter and Mr. Dugan voluntary statement forms to fill out a

return.

Ofc. checked several dumpsters in the area and was unable to locate the phone or Mr. Robinson. There is nothing further until the statement form

are returned.

Investigation continues.
