Teachers of Bilingual Education Class

Academic Year 2018-2019

As a teacher my goal is to interest my students in new technologies and science both in Lithuania and abroad. I also try to help them discover new ways of making the process of learning more attractive. I believe that science stimulates your imagination, enables you to think critically and develops your individuality, which is very important!

Diana NavickaitėTeacher of Biology, Physics and Chemistry

A day without discovery is a day wasted. There are so many things to be learned, discovered and explored and so little time for all that.

Dr. Simonas ŠabanovasTeacher of Geography

There are six rules in my class:

• Enthusiasm!

• No overabundance of information.

• More secondary sources.

• If possible, connect history with today.

• Use as much of local historical information as possible.

• Use audio/video sources to complement what you have learned.

Juozas DalinskisTeacher of History

Dr. Aušra RutkienėTeacher of Mathematics

Mathematics and creativity: problem solving should be creative because real life situations are not clearly defined. My purpose is to inspire you to think differently towards mathematics, that it isn’t only rules but creativity too.

Globally educated people have to be open-minded and aware of their own and others’ identities. They also have to understand the ins and outs of the global market situation, they should be able to voice their opinions well and they must take responsibility for participating in the processes of a civil society.

Saulius SkučasTeacher of English

Einstein once said, “Science will never be a finished book. Any development over time reveals more and deeper difficulties”. That said, learning seems to be the only conscientious activity of a person that one’s mind can never finish. It allows us to perceive the world, change ourselves and others and to strive for perfection. Let us indulge ourselves enthusiastically in this activity!

Rytis JezukevičiusTeacher of English and Philosophy

“The biggest joy in life is to feel you are needed and close to people”

(A.Chekhov)

Ingrida RinkevičienėTeacher of Lithuanian

The most important thing in life is to feel connected with another person:

“Let us find time to listen, to look into someone’s eyes, let us learn to cry together, to encourage each other, laugh and just to be together”. (Bruno Ferrero)

Lina ŠapkauskienėTeacher of German and Russian

Salvija Elona ReveltaitėTeacher of German and Russian

We all want to get to know othercountries, to understand foreigners andtheir characters, to acquaint ourselveswith a different culture, humour andtraditions... All that is easy to achievewhen you are learning foreign languages! It is also important to separate language learning from politics.

I always study and develop my personal as well as professional skills and abilities so that I could share my knowledge with others.

Jovyta KumpienėTeacher of IT

Dream big and try to achieve unbelievable things – all of today’s discoveries and inventions seemed utopian a long time ago.

Giedrė GenutėTeacher of IT
